Eh, still not satisfied/pleased with it, but as a plot device to relatively quickly shift gears from winding, involved fantasy plotlines to returning to Housepets' roots in slice-of-life silliness and retellings of cult classic media with brown sandwich bag hats, I suppose this kind of deus ex machi...

This is Housepets!, where the premise at the end of the day is always "funny animals". I feel extremely confident in saying that the consequences are going to be at "shenanigans" level rather than "world and or life ending" level, so with that in mind, yeah, sometimes ...
