Re: Worst Books You've Ever Read
The Secret Life of Bees. It was the most bloated piece of garbage I've ever read. I had to read it for school and like half the girls and all the boys in my class hated it. That is probably the 3rd worst book I read in school. I honestly can't remember anything about it except it was bout a bunch o...

Stupid Fox is a small web comic done by SilentReaper of DA. First comic is here. The gags are mostly visual and there aren't many of them, but they're really funny.

This is my desktop, there are many like it, but this one is mine. http://a.imageshack.us/img442/7875/desktoppo.th.jpg I saved a video of an all CPU Defcon game, converted the video into a sequence of JPEGs and put them in a folder. Now my background is a slowly animated Defcon game. It's really pret...

Depends on how in depth on hardware you want to go. I for one can't prototype (build) anything electronic, but I can put a computer together and debug hardware issues. Programming I would suggest starting out messing around with HTML (yes it isn't really programming but it gets you into the idea of ...

Well the best way is through experience. Try messing around with linux, always try and fix problems yourself. If you're in High School and your school has an A+ class on computer repair take it (it's an industry standard certification). Honestly I don't know how I learned a lot of the stuff I know, ...

Foldo, many college and university campuses block the IRC port 6667. To get around this you can use Mibbit (like I and Devils do) or you can set up a redirect proxy from your home (If there's a spare computer always on). Those are basically your two options if the port or protocol is getting blocked.

I really enjoyed my live experience (which hadn't been my first but just remembered my first). I went to see Pendulum live (they do Drum and Bass, which is a type of techno/electronic sound). Before they were on they had a couple of smaller electronic artists on, which was alright until they were st...

Alex, correct word is nerd or tryhard. Geek is more where you have the ability, but are slightly lazy or focused on things not germane to the standard educational curriculum.

I was getting into my first online MMO Star Wars Galaxies, and I needed a name. I wanted to use Ace Azameen, a name that came from the game X-Wing Alliance, but of course, it was already in use. I had always liked how Zeek sounded, but I needed a surname. Thought about it for a bit and transformed A...

I think its still pretty sad towards the end, its just its more of an angry sorrow than the opening. It doesn't fit entirely well with the playlist, but otherwise it'd be just Stevens and Kansas, need a bit of variety.

Yea, it's more like the insane ones force you to see them because of how loud and outspoken they are. It's like that and other organizations/belief groups where some will get up in your face demanding that you accept their reality while others are more open to friendly discourse/disagreement.

Already mentioned I read Ender's Game, and I still enjoy it now and again. The Among the Hidden series is a bit YA (geared toward a younger audience) for me. Well we can come up with some pictures and vote on which one we like best. Try to only use as small a map as possible, meaning try not to extrapolate on anything beyond what we talked about because that would restrict us (we might want to change it later if we got it wrong).

Do we wanna come up with a neighborhood map? I don't want to do anything too specific and constricting. It would help though to know where places are in relationship to eachother. Post any ideas/images here if you want. (Try to thumbnail them though so they don't take up the entire page)
