Re: The Sports Thread
Maybe there's not enough countries that are interested- but surely there's more countries with an interest in baseball than basketball. That is kind of weird. I'm not sure that's strictly true - basketball is definitely an international sport that has a large presence in every continent. But regard...

Buddy Holly by Weezer always puts a smile on my face Weezer are on my top bands to see for sure - Rivers is such a unique frontman and so giving to the fans. One of my all-time favourites by them is 'Holiday' from the Blue Album. It's just one of those songs you can't constrict into a singular genr...

What does everyone think of the new Linkin Park album? Although I'll start by saying I'm not their biggest fan, it's nice that they've both returned to their classic sound whilst bringing in some newer elements. I was a bit disillusioned at 'A Thousand Suns', much the same way I was when Muse annou...

We do have one of the best climates for our position though. The weather today has spoken for itself, it feels like Noah's about to pass by. In my opinion, English weather goes through extremes more now than it has ever before. We get scorching sun, torrential downpour or thick snow more times than...

I just watched the Green Mile. I've never cried so much at a movie before. I don't know what else to say. It was an amazing story, and one of those that didn't have a happy ending. Strange how the reason I wanted to watch it was because it stared Tom Hanks, and now I'm more interested in the direct...

That is a very valid point too - there aren't that many breed crosses in the comic, Rufus being the exception to the rule. Or have I missed a blindingly obvious one? *waits cowering in fear of impending verbal projectile corrections*

Re: Arc 56: Let's Imaginate Guys And Dolls
I'd love to see more of these type of comics in the future, meaning having the characters act out a shortened play/film/book with all of the witty humor infused into this arc present. Though I haven't seen Guys and Dolls, I'm pretty sure this nails the long and short of it effectively

I think Rick gets the mix right honestly - of all the other webcomics I keep or have kept up with, Housepets! is the prime instance where I've been excited about every strip update. The ratio between plot development and one-off craziness has been balanced well so that there are timely breaks in the...
