Does King really hold that much of a trump card for Pete that only in under a year does Pete think he can win with him against Dragon?
He still is kinda far behind in the power race.

Re: 2013/05/22 - Tactical Retreat
Well this is how he does it (because as I said threatening to ruin the wedding was the only card Pete had) this is how he gets him as an Avatar. However this kind of brings up a bit of a plot hole, why in the world didn't he just do this months ago? King already proposed he was going to get married...

Re: 2013/05/20 - And The Sentence Was Going To Be Déjà Vu
Well, this in certainly an interesting complication. Now that Pete's here, all sorts of stuff could happen. Here are three of my favourite theories about where this is headed so far: Pete tells him something about Bailey (maybe she's the Great Kitsune's avatar, or perhaps his own) or about somethin...

Re: If two pets had a kid...?
Seems like this comic treats some aspects normally, Grape was at the shelter and if Peanut was part of a litter, he certainly doesn't know his brothers/sisters or parents. So it's likely he was bought from a pet store, if they have them around more, or they got him from some other source. I mean yea...

Re: You know what, I'm just gonna tell everyone . . .
The only flaw with the Cosmic arc is how isolated it is from everything else. Take the PeanutxGrape arc that happened earlier before Peanut/Tarot and Grape/Max fully developed and ended with them being, "just friends" but on a happy note for both. That got a lot of characters and situation...

Re: Arc #64 All Hallow's Ween
I like the new style for backgrounds, adds more to it with a very thick black and a color. I like it for more differentiation, it's gonna be better for the characters to have more to them body wise to tell apart and make them their own personal selfs. The outlines on characters? That's the only thin...

Gives room for more established ideas, the watch is a good plot point for later, and helped develop some characters while on the quest for the watch.

keep in mind there are multiple parts of a soul, and I imagine fate would probably be the least important part, so missing that part would just leave that feeling of "I should be doing something right now, but I can't think of what it is" that we all get sometimes when we forget what we'r...

Speculation is fun and all but you gotta make it believable and reasonable. That is most likely what drives people crazy abut shipping, it cool to have theories or fan-fiction if people want to create an alternative to a story element that is fine for enjoyment. Sometimes people take it too far when...

I feel a bit sad about this, since it seems like I think this is gonna lead into a heart stringing situation where King's choice is influenced by one of his new friends.
Might be looking too much into it but I could see this turning heart stringing like, "It's a Wonderful Dog's Life"

Re: Arc 42: Not All Dogs
Good call on no time travel, DC comics treats it like it's a casual event to do it. :P Perhaps it represents the number of friends he has made or maybe the number of connections he has in his life? Or does it set when how King acts in real life so changing the timer causes him to change personality....

I wonder why he wants King so much, he could have easily gotten another pet to be his avatar so why wopuld he go off and do this?
If his reason was to be a jerk to King...I would laugh hard.
Good to see this again, King arcs are pretty good and are nice to see what Joel needs to do.

Well times change with this, so it's no surprise Comedy would as well.
Eventually they needed to slowly change it, after all keeping at it wouldn't work as well unless they could pull of an Animaniacs or Tiny Toons writing style.
