Re: Discussion: Video Games
I never had any trouble with Sacred Stones because the first floor of the Tower of Valni was too easy to exploit for a ton of levels from relatively early in the game, but I can see how it'd be rough if you played it through without abusing that. The first game on the GBA could be absolutely brutal ...

I haven't played a Fire Emblem game all the way through since Path of Radiance on the Gamecube, so I can't say I'm excited about the new game. It'll probably be good, but I can't seem to get into the games as much anymore. For Smash, though? I am sooooooooo hype. I need to save up some money so I ca...

And naturally Grape and Peanut genderbend the costumes. They also actually fit the characters surprisingly well: Grape the lovable cynic, and Peanut the bright-eyed optimist.

It's still a failure on my part to forget that nobody actually watched Guys and Dolls and so don't understand why the ending in the comic is so abrupt. It's because it's ridiculously abrupt IN THE MOVIE. It was part of the joke. Never seen the movie, though I had friends in a stage production of th...

So... That's it? Less than twenty words needed to be said (but still an in-combat monologue), and skip to six months later? Not even a montage or something of all of this? The arc is just instantly resolved to that point? Arc's not over yet. Nothing but "Will Gale fit into civilization?" ...

Please note the lack of Kings, Baileys and pups in the pit. I was gonna point out the lack of a Poncho or North Star. Did they not also get the pit treatment after getting trounced in the woods? If not, why? Are they tied up elswhere in Gale's lair? I could understand maybe having Poncho tied up in...

I wonder if perhaps a different style border on flashback panels would make it more obvious, because it seems a lot of people are having trouble distinguishing here. That aside, it took me a minute to figure out what Gale meant in the third panel. Not sure if it's odd word choice or if I'm just a li...

Depends on what direction the cave entrance faces. Judging from the strip where we first see the pit, the mouth of the cave is just above the pit, so if the moon passes the cave mouth, they would see it at some point.Welsh Halfwit wrote:Yeah, but they wouldn't see the moon to howl at it.

Fortnite is another game I'd probably be playing a decent amount of if my connection wasn't so poor. I played it a little bit, and I really enjoy the concept and art style, but online games just don't work for me. Lag makes it basically unplayable.
