Re: PF:Richmond Acres OOC
No application yet, but I think I've just figured out why the name 'Carlyle' came to my mind... Kit'n'Carlyle? That's the one. I guess the name 'Kit' must have made me think of cats. Funny how looking into the comic shows that Kit is actually the name of a human... Thanks, Esper and Argent. So... Y...

Re: PF:Richmond Acres OOC
No application yet, but I think I've just figured out why the name 'Carlyle' came to my mind... Seeing the name of a comic I'd never actually read. It must have lodged itself into my subconscious, or something. Also, while I'm here, is Kensington the name of the neighboring city? How small/large is ...

Re: PF:Richmond Acres OOC
Oh, thank you, but my interest in balance isn't in any way selfless. I actually want more realistic RP, as can be seen from my posts on the main OOC thread.
We do see examples in the comic of pets with realistic names (such as a black cat being named Sabrina).

Re: PF:Richmond Acres OOC
Oh, I wasn't planning on it. Educated owners don't necessarily mean intelligent pets. I'm actually reconsidering the associate professor idea. It tied into the name I had in mind ('Carlyle'), but since it seems the other pets here have names that are unusual for pets... I want to balance that out a ...

Re: PF:Richmond Acres OOC
Hmm, that's a pity. What about a small college town 30 miles' commute down the highway?

Re: PF:Richmond Acres OOC
Glad to hear it! Okay, before I prepare an application (which will probably be later anyway, not right now)... Richmond Acres doesn't have a college, does it? If not, the first post of the PF main OOC thread says this: 'Richmond Acres is a suburb nestled between a small city and expansive farmlands....

Re: Pet Friendly: Main OOC
So, I was just looking over the crossed out Yorkshire Meadows description in the opening post of this thread... Aww, it's a shame it got assimilated. It sounds like it would have been right up my alley.

Hi, are you guys still full? Hlaoroo suggested Richmond Acres when I was asking questions on the PF main OOC thread.

Re: Pet Friendly: Main OOC
Thanks again! I might take a look at Richmond Acres later, then. Would you say it's the most realistic neighborhood on offer? (Sorry if I'm being a bother by asking all this.) EDIT: Just a little question to make sure... *whistling* How common is making new neighborhoods? Say Richmond Acres isn't qu...

Re: Pet Friendly: Main OOC
Thanks for taking the time to respond! Re: #5, though, I saw that rule. I wasn't suggesting any characters actually dying (backstory or otherwise), but simply the uncomfortable fact that such things exist, and potentially characters being spared such a fate via being adopted... Would that be accepta...

Re: Pet Friendly: Main OOC
I admit I haven't actually looked through the current neighborhoods to see if any of them fits what I'm talking about, but—How realistic are the realistic ones? I'm thinking of stuff like, for example— 1) People actually have kids. ( EDIT : By which I mean, humans actually have human children, which...

Re: 2014/04/18 - Pernicious Predicament
Are they crying cause Chauncey is gone, or cause Tiger beat up Chauncey right in front of them? He really is a good teach' if that's the case. :P I suggest neither—I imagine the bat and the part of Chauncey Tiger is wearing would be more than enough to clue them in as to what really happened to Cha...

Hmm, thank you, Gren. I wonder if he'll go back and fix it if Jake ever makes an appearance?
Thanks, everyone!

Bino's Owner - 'Jake' or 'Jeff'?
This is something that may have been brought up before, considering the several years Housepets! has been going (I certainly noticed Valerio—I think it was him, at least—allude to it in a past strip's comments section), but... In the Fido's Return arc, in two consecutive strips: http://www.housepets...

Re: The Welcome Thread!
Hello, everyone! Unlike some people who have apparently powered through the archive quickly, I've taken more time—I'm not sure exactly how long it's been, but I'm thinking a span of weeks at the least. I've finally caught up, though, and can join everyone here on the fora without fear of spoilers! I...
