Oh, thank you, but my interest in balance isn't in any way selfless. I actually want more realistic RP, as can be seen from my posts on the main OOC thread.

We do see examples in the comic of pets with realistic names (such as a black cat being named Sabrina).

Oh, I wasn't planning on it. Educated owners don't necessarily mean intelligent pets. I'm actually reconsidering the associate professor idea. It tied into the name I had in mind ('Carlyle'), but since it seems the other pets here have names that are unusual for pets... I want to balance that out a ...
