It is definitely The Doctor, the 3D glasses leads me to suspect that this is a reference to the 50th anniversary special. When it aired in cinemas there was a brief scene with David Tennant commenting on 3D.

The last airbender movie was a complete flop in every way. Attack on Titan would have been even harder to adapt though. Every episode had a lot of action, gore and story.
