I can't decide if Demon is an honest soul that wants to leave Pandemonium for the same reasons as Keene (Pandemonium looks like a terrible place to live) or if it works for Eudoant and everything that happened to Keene in Pandemonium was part of his plan to get an agent into the world of the living.

Even if he does know kitsunes are mythical, Res is currently a were-tiger and his friend Grape is an actual ninja. A pet turning themself into a kitsune isn't that far fetched. Also, I would assume he is able to dismiss his power because he was normal size after defeating the first monster.
