I don't think Kix escaped from a fur farm, why would someone have a pet and then want to kill and skin it? I think it's an euphemism for her owner dying. Wonder how it was decided that Kix would be the demi-gods mother? If she was selected beforehand to have these kits or if she was just a pregnant ...
