Re: Announcements of leave and return

I return! I never really formally "left" in the first place, but the comic hit a slow spot and my interests drifted, as I said would likely happen in my first post here. It's picking back up again, so here I am. I'm still not going to be terribly active, i.e multiple posts per day, I don't...

Re: What Are You Doing Today?

You haven't heard from me in a while, since I'm not paying too much attention to the comic these days, BUT: Classes were cancelled from noon 8/26 through the end of the week due to Hurricane Laura. It's only supposed to be Cat 1 at the strongest where I'm at, further inland and a bit to the west of ...

Re: What Are You Doing Today?

I collect decks of cards now. This thought occurred to me as I bought 2 more decks today, bringing up the total I've spent on cards in the last year to nearly $100. And that's only 8 decks, one of which I didn't even have to pay for. All the ones I currently have are by Theory11, but there's severa...

Re: Joys And Sorrows

Several things to recap since my last post: Wednesday night I was moving laundry tweaked something in my shoulder after an awkward reach into the washing machine. It must've caught a nerve or artery, since no more than 20 seconds later I was out cold on the floor. I was lucky I didn't fall backwards...

Can't really relate to the lyrics, though I can see what they were getting at, and the instrumental was just OK. 4/10

Re: Joys And Sorrows

Power went out for an hour or so at work today. Which is a problem, since I work at a grocery store, and since it was 90+ today, all our refrigerated and frozen goods were warming quickly. Luckily, power was restored much sooner than expected (a transformer blew), and since I'm in the ecommerce depa...

Hlaoroo 's and D-Rock 's pics kinda help sum things up nicely. Essentially it's one week where you get to change species just for fun or for introspection or whatever you want. :D First Sunday in May every year. It's always been pretty popular in the furry community, and we used to have a thread fo...

Been away for a while, so here's a bit of a recap: Finals went really well, despite sleeping through one (turns out it would've had no effect on my grade one way or the other, though I didn't know that until after the fact >_<) and not knowing about one until half an hour beforehand (still got the h...

If I'm not mistake, this is the first arc featuring the "main cast" since I started reading back in December, and only like the 3rd page overall that has either of the two in it. Nice.
Love the callback to the other babysitting arc too.

That'd be pretty cool, but 1. this is only a one-off comic so I wouldn't expect major things like that out of it, and 2. there's already a turned human in the zoo.

It'd still be neat tho.

It's not rereading, but it's related to the comic and not worth an entire thread, so I'm posting this here: Isn't Marion a girls' name? Everything I've found points to it being so. It usually happens two or 3 times per year, so to have it happen twice in so short a timespan is rather unusual. Probably has something to do with me staying up until 3 playing those flash games...
