Re: New future characters
Almost certainly not going to happen, sorry. How would Rick write for them? After all they wouldn't be HIS characters, and he, I think, hardly knows the personalities of other people's characters. He's only ever done this on one occasion to my knowledge, and it's for someone he knows very well.

A Little Q&A
With Rick’s permission, and in light of the controversy surrounding “The Trial in Heaven”, I present the following Q&A thread. The thing is, all art is communication. The problem is when there is a communications breakdown--if the one communicating (the artist) and the one being communicated to ...

Me neither. If there's going to be anything close to major melodrama caused by his choices, let's have it happen, for one thing. For another, it COULD be Bailey: if Pete were to cause Bailey to suffer heartbreak by manipulating the situation to where King inadvertently breaks it, he could use that h...

Re: Plot vs. Inconsequential
Seems like I'm the only one yet who wants more plot driven arcs. I like one-offs as much as the other guy, but would like if there were more arcs which focuses on longer plots instead of having one between 4-6 single short plot arcs. Not that I don't like those either, but the balance is a lot more...

Pete will attempt to get at King through Bailey, or else get to HER to torture him (coward!). King will have a major moment of truth, and he'll win, but victory may be bittersweet.

Re: Arc #55: The Trial in Heaven
Agreed. Rick pretty much confirmed this. I foresee a Peanut and Grape arc, a Fiddler and Keys arc (PLEASE!), and THEN the King arc. At least. That's how these things usually go. As for the the end of the comic thing, Rick is writing this story in a way that I never would. But he's not me. Thing is, ...

Re: Arc #55: The Trial in Heaven
That's. FANTASTIC. And indeed, Pete's sentence should fit his actions. At the very least, he should be told to STAY AWAY from King, if that wasn't clear already, and then perhaps the duel pact should be annulled, but Pete is commanded to make reparations to the lives he hurt (indirectly for some) or...
