About the cover,Rick. I'm embarassed and amused to admit, but i never noticed until now with the cover in full detail the meaning behind the text for your cover.

Before, "Housepets! Are naked all the time" sounded like a silly joke and pun to me, but now? The text clearly gives the 'wham' line in that "Housepets are naked all the time". It probably because there was a simple Colon mark last time, but now the message is much clearer to recognize i find. It's clearly how you placed and colored the text on the cover of it that makes the message more easier to identify. It's like a comic book cover :)

The Bigglesworths and Tiger are definitely going to affect the outcome of what happens. I'm interested to see who else is in on this balloon war, especially on the dogs side. :]

Wow, they take this REALLY seriously. I really wonder how the dogs are doing... Well, actually, the dogs have a huge advantage. For the cats to get hit, it means it's over. They'll be wet, and they'll run away to dry themselves. For the dogs to get wet, it means... nothing.

Im pretty sure Rick said somewhere that he was going to redo all the comic strips from the first year that were in b&w and draw them in the current style. I do not recall him ever saying he wrote a book (besides the NaNoWriMo one)

Win.

As with any other arc, I can't wait to see where this leads. I wonder if Bino will turn this into a GOD vs the rest of Babylon Gardens kind of thing.

The records detailing the casus belli were lost through water damage early in the war.

(Anybody else had to google miak? I know Ernest only from that Family Guy gag and that's sad enough on its own.)

I'm sorta nitpicking here, but i just find it humorous that most people in the comments section are quoting war quotes from... Anime. *Twitch*

I read some of the manga at one point and i know they 'all' went through a war series practically at the same time last year, but come on! Even Videogames or War TV series/movies would be nice.

Did the mangaka go the way of DC/Marvel and made a crossover mega event or did I miss something?

Has anyone noticed there's no update, or did Rick forget to post a comic late message (or can't, with these forum problems), or is there something I don't know, or what? :?

 The look on Zachs’ face in the first panel is great. Way to go Max! Though it was him landing on the Balloon that popped it in the first place; that was still brave. Well as much as it could be seeing as its just a water balloon. :P

Complete. Global. Cataclysm.

Whoever announced the attack now reminds me of the TF2 announcer. I'm betting they have to treat the K-9 unit as if they have grenades. can't wait to see what the K-9 unit is gonna be like. and love seeing Max being heroic, though he mightbe eliminated <3

I can't see the new comic... it's nowhere to be found. I tried reloading the page over and over, Shift+F5, going to a random comic then clicking the "Last"... Did Rick really release a new comic?

EDIT: Okay, I've been linked to the new comic, and saw it. But it doesn't make sense at all. When I click back, I end up on Friday's comic and can't click "Next" or "Last". It doesn't appear when I search for tags. I tried restarting my PC, opening HP in a different browser, reloading over and over again - the new comic just isn't there for me.

And to comment on the comic - it's unfair for the dogs to have the K9 unit. They're TRAINED for stuff like this! Maybe there is more of the cats, but it still makes them weaker.

Their only hope is Zach and his woodland critters....
