honestly, it kinda would get me squeeing, if only because I have been of the belief that it would happen since the end of the first Res arc.

I hope there is a move too! It could mean Grape ends up in that love triangle she is trying to avoid (If you don't count Peanut).

eh, truth be told I don't really care if he moves in or not. I always kind of felt like Res would be better suited to being an occasional cameo for an arc (like in his first arc.) and for one offs rather then a full main character.

I don't mind Grape going fangirl though with Res around, which pretty much is what i'm expecting out of this arc just the way she's greeting him =3

On a related note though: Peanut and Grape wrestling. I'm surprised she could even get him to the ground considering his size. But that glare... o_o

All we know at the moment is Res is just visiting a friend, but we also know he has read Grape's fanfiction. Okay, listen up: what if... after he read the fanfiction Peanut sent him he actually liked it and now has come to Babylon Gardens to settle out the legal matters. That's right, he liked it so much he could use her stuff in the canon and has come to make a TBD= The Book Deal.

I don't think that's what the title will be, but I must admit that would be really clever way to do it.

usually TBD just means "to be determined" though TBA for "to be announced" would work better in this case.

Then again, he says he doesn't like his pumpkin burrito- could it be that he prefers resberries? Also- how dry is it in there? I'd hate to see Grape dry up into a resin (or worse, run into some coniferous trees and get covered in resin!) Also, I notice two doors in the background of panel two- could these be meant as restroom doors? Heres hoping that tomorrow's comic resolves these issues in a resonable and respectable manner.
I think the arc will actually be named "The Big Dummy" or something of that ilk, and the name was specifically chosen to confuse us into thinking "TBD" stood for "To be determined".

was the res in "Heres" meant as a pun too and that's why you neglected the apostrophe?

whatever happens in this arc, I'm sure it will be entertaining as always.
you know, If it ever came out that res was the actual author, unless he knows how to protect himself, he'd have to file a few Res-training orders

Perhaps TBD was to confuse us. I like Evan's thinking, it might very well be The Book Deal. I've got a few other ideas.

It's all about technique~

It really doesn't surprise me though. I've always thought that Peanut would be fairly weak in a fight; he's really not much bigger than Grape anyway. And Grape's always been the more violent one. She strikes me as the type who watches wrestling while standing on the couch, putting pillows in headlocks, as she yells at the wrestler she's voting for to beat the stuffing out of the other one.

That was very awkward, but it is nice to see him assert himself. Also Grape is totally being a huge fan girl right now. Also it looks like you are most likely wrong Brent.

Edit: I'm gonna throw out Beasts of Burden or some variation of that name (maybe Burden of the Pridelands) for the Arc title just because (though its unlikely) or Break of the Pridelands or Annoyance of the Pridelands

I saw quite a few people in the comments who seemed confused or annoyed that Res made such a big fuss when Peanut brought up Pridelands, citing his shyness as the reason for their confusion.

I'd just like to say, as a generally shy and introverted individual, that being shy doesn't make a person incapable of emotional displays of frustration and anger. We've just got a higher tolerance than most as we prefer to hold things in than cause a big ruckus. This also means that when we do reach our limits, the explosion tends to be bigger than those who let it out on a regular basis; this tends to look uncharacteristic of us on the surface, but if you think about it, it makes perfect sense.

Oh, also... Grape was kinda adorable in the first panel.

I actually didn't see this in the comments at all. I did see people say they were glad Res could assert himself in spite of being shy, which is not the same thing. As an extremely shy and somewhat antisocial person, I am comfortable saying I only "vent" with people who are particularly close.

Aw, this is shaping up to be something very mindblowing. Grape seems awfully chipper about something i tell you what.

Res carrying around his laptop is just like something i would do and i used to find it really hard to talk about anything but my ideas back when i first started college. My stories became my entire life. I figure eventually he won't be able to stop talking.

A Tech wrestler i would definitely assume Grape is given her history, but i just somehow didn't expect a dog to be taken down. More-Less Peanut X3

Okay, "annoyed" was a bad choice of words. But when I got there (and posted my comment), there was only about 6 or 7 comments, and all of them seemed to be people expressing confusion about someone so shy actually being able to express themselves in an assertive manner.

I remember one calling it "awkward", and most of the rest was implication, but they certainly seemed to be surprised.

Also, as an aside, it is entirely possible to be both "surprised" and "glad" that a shy person is able to assert themselves at the same time. They're not the same thing, but they often go hand-in-hand.

Res went to Babylon Gardens to relax? Okay... :?

I expect Res to offer to take some pet from the Gardens back with him as his Muse.... or find out that King is a human. Why? Because absolutely no one would see that coming.

Nah I'm guessing either twitchy pre-break down face Res or some kind of fan girlish squee face Grape. Though I won't rule out a kiss for a future strip in the arc. I'm more interested in the title of the arc actually
