"get the thing"
the most important goal in any game ever.

Sweet. More Peanut and Grape. :D

I suppose this is just a between-arc strip, though. Still, always good to see some Peanut-Grape antics.

I wonder what game they are playing?
(Can someone fix the topic? I was the one who made it not Brent)

I'm not sure. I have a feeling it's either "Get The Thing 94353236232344243262827592752987529482759628937259732: Getting It Again" or "Get The Thing 94353236232344243262827592752987529482759628937259733: Can't Believe We Need to Get It (Again) Again".

Spin Jump.

Mario.

Or Generic Platforming Game 2.

Personally I hate it when people backseat game. Myself, when ever someone wants me to help them in a single player game, I give them hints instead.

Video games have us so used to needing reflexes often backseat gaming comes naturally. It's hard to stop.

Huh.... why is Grape not in the tags? I think we may be seeing a conspiracy here!!! Nevermind~

I am guilty of this. I have backseat gamed before, and am not proud of it. One of my faults, I guess.

Peanut just goes 100% on everything, huh?

I was quite pleased to see Grape and Peanut again. Too bad this is a one-off.

Grape is listed in the tags!
IceKitsune wrote:(Can someone fix the topic? I was the one who made it not Brent)
The topic's not broken. When merging posts from disparate threads, the forums automatically sort by post time (and date, if that's not obvious). To do what you ask would involve taking RandomGeekNamedBrent's post and making it yours. First poster in a thread is equally as trivial as the first comment on the comic - it bestows no special status and we don't allow boasting about either.

Yeah he does and he's rather adorable when he does that. I like how he's jumping in the air at the third panel.

I want to say they're playing Arkham Asylum or Uncharted 3 but then she's clearly not holding either an X-Box or PS3 controller

OMG, that's totally me and my sister few years ago (well, not to far, because last week when we play Crash Team Racing I do the same to remind her the controls and stuff XD)

Love all of the looks on Peanut this comic. Clearly a Mario Wii game. =3

And Peanut is so radiating my brother right about now.

Backseat gaming is really stressful, especially when you want to play the game yourself. :?

It's on a Wii? Looks more like a generic video game controller than a Wii-mote, honestly. :U

Yeah...that awkward moment when you hate when people tell you what what do do in videogames all the time and when you are one of them as well...

Well there's a little thing on the bottom on the right, which I imagine would be a B button.

I... I don't think I can read Housepets! anymore. I used to think it was funny, clever and cute, but then when I found out they own a Wii, I just can't support something like this. The console choice of one family is completely unjustifiable.

The 'B' button is on the left on a Wii-mote. :O

pay attention, we've known they owned a Wii since the very first strip. Wii is the third word ever spoken in Housepets!
(yes, I know what you're making fun of, just wanted to point that out)

As someone who read Garfield a lot when I was younger, I love the parodies.

Oy, Tiger is thoroughly confused. Someone needs to get him a calendar or something!

I love Tiger and Marvin. A nice comedic duo if ever I saw one.

Also, Third panel Tiger face; I have had that face many a time when I first wake up.

The more I see of Tiger the more I feel bad for him. Actually he's more relatable than a particular franchised orange cat with a geeky owner in my opinion.

i have something to say, even though its irrelevant i still feel the need to say it, I think it would sound better if Marvin said "and besides it's wensday."

Per Grape, it was all the dogs, including Peanut who mocked Tiger for his name.
