The most embarrassing and disastrous attempt by a pop artist to reinvent themselves since Vanilla Ice tried to go gangster.

Squeaky profanities are always funny.

Is it even a hug anymore if you can't use your arms because he's so small that he falls right through? Unless you were to hug yourself and just kinda jam him in between your arms and chest.

It even sounds awkward in theory; I can't begin to imagine what it would look like in practice.

Ah, poor Alan... I know very well of this pain...

I wonder if he'll go underground or something to get recognition for his songwriting by not releasing it under a famous name...

Or maybe he'll utilize modern technological editing programs to make his voice deeper. That's the twist; this arc is just a reverse of the phenomenon of "chipmunkifying" (yes, that's a scientific term) pop songs to make them even sillier than they were to begin with.

Alan and the Ground Squirrels need a T shirt! I'd buy it.

And I personally would not care what people thought, as long as the song was a hit, which it was, so stop your belly aching Alan!

One of the funny things about me when it came liking the chipmunks is not because of their singing, heck i liked the way they talked back then and still do... just not when singing. I liked them because they looked more like regular 8 year old boys that were chipmunks with distinctiveness between the three of them that seemed more original than most shows realize ~ The nerd, the showstealer and the chubby.

But as the comics pointed out, they are mostly children material. X3
