Title Text: It's a deal on account of it being hot . . . um, a hot deal

I think Itsuki might be suspicious. *giggles* Maybe.

...

Just a little.

The scooter has an auto-pilot, but it only drives in circles.

Don't the wolves know they live in the same neighborhood as a cop?

Why would that be a concern? His shop is clearly legitimate.

Poor Poncho, and here I thought I saved the guy!? Guess he's just a glutton for punishment?

No doubt Poncho is Jacks "right hand" man!

Maybe he steals while people are thinking of a ton of ways he could have lost his arm. It's the perfect distraction. Another distraction is asking if they want to touch his stub. Who wants to bet Jack somehow got Peanut's wallet from his collar in the last strip? X3

I'd like to think that Jack has some dirt on Poncho or something. Either that, or... yea. He's just a glutton for punishment. Poncho is still FTW.

Call the police we got a robber here, we've got all the evidence right here at at the garage sale, I am surprised that they didn't even take of the license plate on the bumper which makes it too easy.

Bill, Fido, Kevin, Ralph and Spo, for good measure, suddenly and mysteriously found themselves with a cut from the junk sale's profits....
Has anyone else noticed this is the very first time we see any sound coming out of Poncho's mouth?!

Even more adorable when he's riding it carrying a muffler and a bumper from a Silverado...

He's clearly become a respected dealer in surreptitiously sourced goods, which gives him a kind of status in Babylon Gardens.

You know the old saying: good fences make good neighbors.

I'm sure the wolves oughta know better than to rob car parts from someone that still owns a car, but I also expect Itsuki to question these parts. At the very least, I get the idea that Mr. Sandwich might make a guest apeparance if Itsuki isn't sure of himself.

Also ~ "I'mI was gonna bump up the price of these parts for you, but then sawwed it when I saw how well you knew your mufflers."

"Furudogu-ya-san"?

(google translate doesn't seem to accept romaji, but searching around I guess 'furudogu' means 'thrift store')

I was just remembering that strip on my way back home. Once again, my dreams of becoming the official Housepets! historian and scholar, who would narrate the story of Rick and his cartoon pals to the children of the soon-to-be post-end-of-civilization through cave paintings and oral tradition have been crushed to naught.

Which one? There's Sasha's literal doghouse (most awesome gift in the HP world, ever...) and there's Fido's house, Joey's house, Peanut's house, Ralph's house, Kevin's houseFino's house (athough nobody dare enter there...)Bino's house...
Sorry, had to...

I wonder if that is Rick's license plate number...

I swear, nothing will get Jack down on this! I bet he will be smiling all the way back into the forest!

That must be a heavy bumper... either that or Poncho is out of shape from all those cheetos.

Yes,
古道具 (furudōgu) is something that's second hand or antique, so
古道具屋 (furudōgu-ya) would be the store that sells such items.
古道具屋さん (furudōgu-ya-san) would be the owner of the secondhand thrift store.

Eeg. This won't go well when the authorities find out. :? Not even the ferrets can pay their way out of this (and shouldn't). The only way the pack could get out of this might be throwing Jack to the wol................ wait........... <facepalm>.

Hmm... Jack in the currency market as well? Also, CAD is also short for "Computer Aided Design" (Or "Computer Aided Drafting" if you're old school...) 110 is binary for 6, this is the 6th strip in the "Jack of One Trade" arc... Hmm...

To be fair, I don't think they fully understand how the laws and technology works and are just basically doing what they normally do in the wild.

However, Miles should know how the laws and technology works, which is why i'm wondering why he's letting Jack continue with this operation in the first place?

Aren't numbers and letters in binary made up of a combination of 8 bits?
