And I just remembered Pete's deal with him....

I'm glad that the whole deal with Pete hasn't changed Keane's general attitude. It feels that Tarot and Sabrina are acting the way they do because they've been chosen as Avatar's...which begs the question how serious are they about some things? I think Keane is smart enough not to let Pete control him completely (hence why Pete want's King as his Avatar?). I'm just glad he still pulls stunts like this whole "Secret Goon Squad" thing. I hope Keane never changes.

That said, I'm a little disgusted with how eager he and his siblings are to stick their noses in everyones' business like they have done in King & Bailey's wedding (though I can see how the wedding could help with furthering their father's dream), they lack a level of understanding the needs of others sometimes. Still too selfish for my liking. It makes me wonder how their father raised them.

Keene can't be Pete's avatar because the rules of the duel say only dogs and cats are allowed.

Aww...that would have made things interesting...then again if Pete can, he'll find a way to bend the rules. Maybe Keane can make it so he's legally known as a dog or cat and that might suffice?

Within the year that I have been reading Housepets! the number of fans and just the entire comic has grown. We are going on what... year four now?

Sorry. I just noticed how the strip has been posted only like six hours ago... and yet there are over three pages of comments.

It's amazing to me.

Believe me, this is a unique work that brings us together. HOUSEPETS! pretty much redefined my canons for a comic, and only for better

Also, severe brain damage in cute, awesome corgi dogs may be cause to ask to be a human again.

And we are currently reading into year 5 of the comic. *cheers* *toasts* And four years for me in this awesome place.

Anyone know when Book 4 will come out?!
I have the others... I got the third one like a month after it came out.

we've seen Rock. and the others popped up in the first panel on Monday

We saw all of them in the last strip!

but we "see" them...but they aren't really doing much storywise...just background

Some characters just end up getting the short end of the stick if you have to juggle one or two platoons full of them.
