I couldn't think of anything to say. Then I had some coffee with my sugar and, when I could focus again, I'd written this:-

Ah, the languid days of Summer,
when kids can feel bored and blue.
They've done all they know,
and their energy's low,
until they;re introduced to...

SUGAR! It makes a walker a runner!
SUGAR! It turbo-charges batteries!
SUGAR! It slows the world.
SUGAR! It's all unfurled.
SUGAR! Who cares about calories?

These two young cubs need a container
more than they need more energy.
They work without thinking -
sugared to unblinking -
fighting all their games without strategy.

Poor Miles wonders about his honour
as he's a helpless spectator
to all their juvenile fun
his plans have only begun...
he's gonna kill that flamin' narrator!
(Or politely ask him to leave)

Now I am wondering how the other characters would react if they were given excessive amounts of sugar. I would love to see Peanut, the ferrets, Sasha, Daisy, and Grape, maybe it would wake her up.

You don't know how much I had to repress my laughter at this one. This is probably the single most hilarious strip in the entire webcomic.

I assume Grape on sugar would be similar to Grape on chocolate-covered espresso beans

i have seen something like this happen before. my friend was baby sitting for her mom's friend (parents where going out to a baseball game) and when she made coffee, she forgot to put the sugar away. the 'smarter then the average 4 year old' took the bag and when she found him, he had eaten enough to be noticed. well, long story.... shorter. i came, saw the kid literally bouncing off the walls.... then left.
so i say... poor miles D:
