[ The END Of Spot ]

Alt-Text: My favorite part was where he didn't die

My favorite part was where literally everyone has apparently killed Spot (Superdog) at some point. Oh, and the return of Nefarious Villains was pretty sweet, too.

Don't blame Peanut, his stories and titles are just a bit spotty.

Well, most superhero comics do follow this theme, they're just not as explicit with the titles.

Gotta say that of those Spot issues my favorites must be: "Who Killed Spot", "The Black Spot of Death" and "Spot Dies at the end"

Link to this topic from the front page should've said "Click on this link to watch Spot die vote whether Spot should die or not."

If Peanut wants to continue his comics, he should keep Spot alive.

Ow, ow, ow, this issue is hot, hot hot!
Declares Peanut as he blows upon his fingers.
This is really the one where I kill Spot
so he's won't be a hero who lingers.
Who does the deed? Um, I forgot.

You're gonna kill Spot? asks noble Grape
I think I must inspect this fine issue
to see if someone else grabs his cape
or if Stripe is gonna need a tissue
at the end of this horrific scrape.

Oh, I see, it's just a run of stories
that may lead to the main event.
It's not that Spot is just a bore, he's
just in a title with some false intent
that takes us on Moore's original wheeze.

(Seriously, A. Moore was the one that kicked the comics 'false death' door wide open when he killed Cap. Britain, only to have Merlin ressurect him the next issue. Now everyone's doing it!)

I thought a new comic would be a good time to introduce myself. Hello!

Oxyclean is probably the best Spot remover.

In the original Spot universe Spot is still alive. However in Universes 7-12, 15 and 22 Spot is as dead as a door nail.
And in universe 3 Spot is a cat :3

Sup Arbitrary and welcome. I'd recommend you go here dude: https://www.housepetscomic.com/forums/v ... start=3400 to get the proper introduction.

Spots been around for a long time so be kinda sad to see him go. Then again that's what writers and artiest do, they get tired of one thing or another and move on to another project. Looks like the fans what a death sir, let the first victim be claimed.

That's because Peanut controls the comic, and he can change anything he wants.

I work in a library and actually came across an omnibus of DC's old imaginary stories the other day

the editor said in the introduction that he considered imaginary stories to be completely legitimate and distinct from dreams and hoaxes, because each one existed in its own canon and allowed the writers to just go crazy and do whatever they wanted, which is what made them so much fun

I'd never thought of it that way before

...and then Pam Stripe woke up and it was all a dream...

Of course, as creator, Peanut has Word of God authority, and can do pretty much what he wants (as long as he can draw it). And Peanut's artwork is getting better...

O! The death of Spot!
Will there be any sort of a plot?
Our hero will punch,
His foes? They will crunch!
Do villians get break times for lunch?

The heroes and villains take break.
They all choose to order a cake.
But fighting breaks out,
And our Spot, he does pout.
My poetry's only half-baked.

I'd not say that. It was a decent one. Many an idea can be carried in poetic form. If people look hard enough.

The funny thing is: Every title promises the death of Spot, but in the end, He just doesnt die. Superheroes are so immortal XD

What if Rick said that Peanut said something about the character of Spot, What trope would cover THAT?
Xane wrote:Guess Peanut's just goofy. ;)
No, Goofy is from Disney, Peanut is from Rick Griffin and Slaves Entretainment.

Hmm! Good question -- perhaps Peanut has Word of Dog authority; the Higher Power would still belong to Rick...

Sorry, that name is taken. Spot will just have to face the alter-ego of his best friend, Professor Magentism (spelled that way deliberately) who has yellow fur and normally wears sunglasses to hide his one blind eye.
