Also, I just noticed, throughout each panel, you can see the shadows in the background growing larger. In fact, upon further review, the background shadows have been undulating in the other two strips of this arc as well - and only in this arc.

This...must mean something. Maybe the very fabric of reality is already starting to rip...

I really didn't think anything of it, I basically thought she was saying hes an exception because he's her boyfriend, since this whole thing is a date. I doubt there is anything more to it then that, but maybe there is.

You know, I wonder if when she said about "soul being shattered" she was referring to... nevermind. (I'm totally predicting this at the next strips XD)

Speaking of the soul shattering prediction Dragon made, which if I recall hasn't happened yet; I kind of wonder if what Tarot realized in that beat panel was that either Dragon made it up or that this was what she was talking about all those years ago.

Edit: Given what Grape said in the strip (that basically nothing along those lines has happened yet) I'm really leaning towards it being that Dragon was lying about the whole thing to seem cool.

Now you're making me doubt. I wonder if there's a deeper reason for Grape to be there. (After all this arc seems to be focused on her.)

You know, Tarot doesn't make a good avatar at all. Her ridiculous Doctor Orpheus level of dramatics nearly made Grape throw her out the door when they first met, her inability to speak with brevity ended up letting Peanut release Pete, her disassociation from "mortals" even though she's one herself ended up distancing King (increasing the likelihood he'll become a rival/enemy to Dragon) until he slams the door in her face... and then her original warning about the end of times coming to the Prime universe ends up backfiring in her face when she tries to use the same logic as an excuse not to take Grape with them...

But at the end, fighting skills is what really matters. Besides, there's still the chance that Sabrina to take charge of the role.

Who knows. By words of Pete we know Karishad is special, so Peanut could be of the same kind as well (maybe that's partly the reason why he wanted him as his avatar).

look more to me like "N-ple date, the Peanut version". except humorous enough, Peanut and Tarot have Grape and Max, who are currently the only other couple they can count on to make it not so awkward.

I really think this arc is going to be more like Theme Park World in terms of structure, a Montage of them going different places and doing things. Now story wise I could see a kind of reverse Imaginate, Too happening with maybe Grape screwing up the Protocol and getting them kicked out.

Edit: I guess it could be like Theme Park World story wise as well but I feel that there is a bit to much set up for basically nothing to happen at all, plus the name of the arc makes me feel like something is going to happen here.

It may be best for them to stay close

as we move onto unknown eyes

Most of them probably fun
But if they choose the wrong thing
Then they most certainly are done
