One thing everyone does seem to be overlooking though is, if Tarot is de-anthro'd, is she incapable of bringing everyone back home?

I'm glad for not been able to predict this (because I love the unexpected), but I can't see this arc extending for so long if things continue this way. I'll make a wild guess and say that they'll be transformed into humans by SD.

Yeah I have to agree I don't think this arc is going to go on more then maybe another week past this one depending on how things develop. I'm also kind of amused how an Arc that started out with a date for Peanut and Tarot turned into an Arc basically about Tarot and Grape. I'm glad Tarot is getting more screen time without Dragon (she needs it pretty badly), this was just not the way I thought it would happen.

We never saw her doing the transportation ritual, so maybe she doesn't need hands at all.
Besides, I'm sure her dragon friend can take care of any trouble.

Oh no! Confounded (CENSORED) phone! I spent almost 2 hours writing poetry. Then just as I finish my (CENSORED) Browser crashes! And like most spur-of-the-moment writings, once it's gone it can't be easily re-remembered. Argh!

It amazes me how many times I recall when I was a kid and reading/watching animals that walked on two feets that I always would wish for this scenario to happen. I think the impact of such scenarios in today's comics sadly has less of an impact, but getting that "wham" moment when the artist suddenly says "Oh, hey ~ look ~ alternate reality!" When you least expect gives you that warm, fuzzy children's show feeling <3

I think the current universe when they are all pets is part of a sliding scale of anthropomorphism and sapience. If they continue in the direction of the GALLIFRAX PROTOCOL, they will end up to a point when they are run of the mill housepets; no sapience, no thumbs. The far opposite side is when they are humans. The median point of course is when they are pets but have things like opposable thumbs. I'm crazy.

Every time I read or watch a story about anthropomorphic animal characters, I always day-dream about what would happen if they saw humans with normal, quadrupedal dogs in leashes. Maybe they would go mad like Gulliver did in the land of the intelligent horses that exploited non-sapient humans, the famous "Yahoos"?
