Guessing the Miltons brought him in. Wolves were one thing but I bet people will have a fit over this.

That was my first thought, too.

Yeah, the heroes depicted on-screen (Imaginate II) have all been lions, but nothing saying there's no allied tribes of other species.

And I wouldn't be surprised if he did turn out to be a feline version of Bino, either. Hopefully with a bit less of the stupid as well. (Then again, Bino's a dog, he's not, so that's probably a given. )

Jata was rescued and raised by Henry Milton during one of the man's travels around the world. He's come back for a family reunion, and to talk with Keene about the plans for man/animal equality.

Are you saying he might have the studliness of Miles and the sanity of Karishad?

I have travelled far to be here;
far and wide from my pride.
I wonder what I will find here,
standing on mountainside.

It is not my Veld here,
far too cool; far too green
what fun I may hunt here
is still out to be seen.

Jata has arrived here
in this new, western, world
I will find the path here
my future is unfurled.

It looks beautiful here
fresh and calm and quiet
I'll miss my past here
but... I have to try it.

Let's see... Daryl, Miles, Kevin, Jata, Tehox, that K9U big black hunk...well, Rick, you are adding up a lot of interesting models for a nice calendar. Yes. We'd love one. We'd buy one.

Also, now we know the title for HP book 6: HOUSEPETS! Hunk Sense Is Tingling

Keene would be selling it so he'd be in it.

And, if Karishad finds out there's a calendar...

I really like how Rick made his eyes (the design I mean), its not the classic HP´s eye design, and if you´ve seen his artwork on non-Housepets! characters the design is not new for you. Again, I really like the design, it adds a je ne sais quoi to the character.

Hey, you never know. I'm sure different feline species breed every once in a while in the HP universe.

I'd totally buy that if he actually made it! (of course it would never be put on my wall cuz' that would make people judge me, as a matter of a fact I'd probably judge myself too)

I bet you a million dollars from Sleet's account that Valerio is writing a leopard and wolf love fanfic with subsequent babies right now!

It's not that it being HP! is the problem, the weird thing would be that it would be a calendar full of well built anthropomorphic men that don't wear pants posing just sitting there on my wall.
But if there was just a calendar of scenes from Housepets! I would toads put that on my wall!!

Would be hilarious If it turns out Jata is a doctor. Grape's sensors would overload. X3

I also get a kick out of all the people saying Maxwell has no hope with him around, but we also don't know why he's here. He's probably got his own family or girlfriend for all we know =P (though no doubt Maxwell would feel jealous right off the bat, still. Ha.)

I doubt it. A famous actor wouldn't arrive in a taxi.
I am wondering about the pass around his neck though. It's not like a regular pet tag. *squints* Is that a pet tag stuck to it though or is that a picture? It ight actually be a tag given that the edges aren't straight on it and that would imply that rather than being wild he must have an owner.
I'm willing to bet a whole maxi-bag of kibble that the Miltons have something to do with this.

It is slowly dawning on me how big it is that a leopard is in the city.

What other dangerous wild creatures should Rick bring in next? I vote for a Puma.

He's wearing an ID, so he probably just came from work, and given that he's riding a taxi, I think this might be unofficial business. My guess is that Res or the Miltons invited him there somehow.

Anyone tempted to map out the houses Babylon Gardens? XD
