There was an obvious reason Uncle Deadeye put his hand over Jata's face in one of the previous strips. He was clearly trying to read his power level in case if things happened to go wrong. Next thing you know, he was actually right. A wise wolf he is.

I really love this sequence, Having said that, I just wish it had been drawn while Rick was still using the old eye style where you could easily see the eye colors. Jata's expression of 'Oh carp' would have been much more evident had his eyes gone from the confident full pupil eye to the now standard small pupiled eye. However Uncle Deadeye's smile more than makes up for it.

I'd agree with that but say it was more that OTHER important thing a blind fighter needs to know of an opponent - where the face is in relation to the ground.

What should've been a normal wedding descended into chaos when Fido admitted Sabrina was his girlfriend. Angrily, Jata attacked. But ever mysterious, the wolf clan showed up. It's up to Uncle Deadeye now to decide who wins, today on House Pets Z!

And ****, this Arc is getting more epic with every page. Of course it was the oldest Wolf who finally managed to beat the enemy ^^
