Uncle Deadeye cages Jata's fist for the win. Before starting a fight with an Old Guy, you better think about how he got so old. If he doesn't want to fight you, he'll just kill you. Jata's lucky; he just gets bent out of shape.

When I was working Security at a Nuke Plant, they taught us how to cage the fist in Self Defense class. It has served me very well exactly once, but I understand Uncle Deadeye's grim grin. And hey, it's only the first time we've seen him smile in the whole comic.

But Jata REALLY Deserved that, alone for the reason for attacking a worthy enemy from behind....and the shotgun wedding....and attacking Fido....and destroying suits....and....did I forgot anything

I would love to see Grape's and all the other cats' expression when Uncle DeadEye beats up Jata.

Apparently Miles. He almost couldn't get a break after throwing Ralph off him. Or maybe he was looking for his glasses.

At least, the female wolves and cubs stayed at home. Could've been worse if Jata can't handle his own against Lucretia's mother (remember what happen with her being midwife) or even against the cubs.

Is Miles stating the line in the last panel or is it Deadeye's first line?

A few things I feel I should say:

I don't think Deadeye broke Jata's arm. My guess is he broke Jata's BACK. In at least three places. Otherwise the comment in the last panel makes almost no sense.

In related news, Deadeye's epic awesomeness has earned him the number two spot on my Favorite Housepets Characters list. (I doubt anything will dethrone Bailey from number one on that list.)

And to think two comics ago, I thought Jata was going to walk away from this one with everyone going home bruised and broken. This makes things alot more interesting now that Jata was stopped. I'm sure Jata will still try to bend the rules ~ true classic villainry style!
