I'm surprised someone caught that. It's a flower-pot heater, and it works a bit like a masonry fireplace. Only it's powered by candles and not wood.

I'm surprised I never caught that, myself. Nice find, Val!

I figured she was just using the stand-alone candles for heat, but the upside down pot I presumed was used for some sort of miniature fridge for food that had to be kept frozen. (Given how cold it looks for her already, I'm sure it ain't hard, but I figured she's just taking extra precautions)

Hedronal wrote:Yet given that on the day of the opening, it was Pete that resurged, not Zach, Pete would be Jesus as well. I don't know if the christmas introduction timing of Zach was intentional for Rick in this, but either way it fits funnily.
(Without getting TOO religious here :D)
What was gained through the resurrection, (Opening of ways in this instance) was that humankind could now gain access to celestial beings (being God and Pete) by simply acknowledging their existence and interference in daily life. The one who provided the way in both cases; Jesus (Bible version) and Zach (Housepets version). Both of which happen to have a late December holiday marking their introduction.
These are undoubtedly coincidences, but I also happen to know that Rick is man of faith. So who knows? We might be witnessing the Gospel Of Zach Arbelt.
Let's just hope Zach isn't crucified by the ferals. That would just suck.
Hedronal wrote:I do have the question though, how does one get the name Custom Ink?
Custom Ink is an online t-shirt printing shop/service that caters to large events and organizations, as well as the average designer.
I hear commercials for them on the radio all the time.
That's ALSO undoubtedly a coincidence ;)

I'm not bragging or anything, but I live in Connecticut and for the past few days it's been like 75 degrees.

Down here it's 1°F right now, and so far it's been said it's the coldest in Newfoundland down here. We're suppose to be getting a much deeper drop soon, but so far it sounds like it's the coldest in your area =P

YAY new characters, and I'm lovin them both, alot!

I'm looking forward to this new arc and what's gonna happen..

I like the idea of the name Custom Ink
Stuff. wrote:Well, these two characters seem cool...pun entirely NOT intended. /:[

But yes, can't wait to see more of these two. This should be quite fun.

Dang, I'm from Idaho and EVEN I didn't have to do that!!!!

If this wasn't Housepets! I'd guess tattoo artist, but that wouldn't fit the tone. Maybe he's into graphic design

THAT"D be cool, some tat2 involvent in the HP! universe is something that I'm not sure ive seen yet, combine multiple loves on mine!
CHAOKOCartoons wrote:OOOOOHH... I understand the custom ink thing now. But if it's custom, does that mean Ink knows how to make ink?!?!

Nope, Custom Ink is a custom shirt manufacturer, seen their ads...

Instantaneous best-seller for sure!

Yes, and *thinks of that South Park Ep in HP!* *shudders* *dies*

also, is the anniversary of Zach's opening the door to Pete's temple the woodland critters' equivalent to Easter?

Time to look through the books and see how Zach arrived. Curse my spotty memory.

And at first I thought those were tiny milk crates.. but then I see how big possums can get.

Why, this story is simple and predictable! I can even tell you in which story arc and at which date the plot willtake a "twist" and aliens with alien housepets will make contact!
Never! Haha!

The animals praise Zachary (No, not, Comstock, just Zachary, ok?) cuz he opened the door to the temple that "contained the power to equalize all beings", and since that's Pete's temple, I'd say celebrating that day is not the best course of action.
