Yeah, it's probably a good idea to light a few candles if you send Falstaff and Truck after medicine.

Although, odds are they come back with cough drops or something unhelpful

Also, her son? It seems likely then, that she's the one in this comic!

Yeah, a few prayers may be needed if Falstaff and Truck were the only ones you could find.

This works for controlled pessimism, yes, but there is a fine line after which point it becomes too easy to be depressed, and that doesn't tend to even allow those pleasant surprises to help.
I hope that those wishing candles work for her, they may need it. Given that they appear to be a short way underground, I also hope they have a way for the candle smoke to get out.

The candles lit and the hopes are fading
as troubles rise and see chance receding.
Falstaff and Truck
are their only luck
and we know they've trouble proceeding.

Why they can't ask, I'm sure I'm not sure
as Zack would help the sick at his door.
Marvin and Tiger,
tea and hot cider,
a warming feeling brought to the fore.

So take them, Jess, and take the lead
show them all you know how to proceed..
Jess and Ink

I kind of expect Jessica to pull something out of her pouch at some point. Like in the online comic "Nip and Tuck" by RH Junior comics. If you've read that then you'll get what I mean.

Though it begs the question of what is exactly supposed to happen on Openermas? It's pretty obvious, but there has to be some major twists involved....

Custom Ink is starting to rub off of me on the same way that Sasha is. Except she's got a son. X3

Of course it's often a moot point to ask when it comes to real life animals since there's so many (Add to the fact they are outdoors), but I wonder if we'll ever discover who the father of the cubs are?

Custom Ink is a female raccoon, *possibly* the mate of the raccoon who led Zachary into the forest and thus causing the advent of the "Opener of Ways".
Falstaff and Truck are the coons we saw in a recent arc. We don't know if they are blood-related to Ink yet.
Jesse is the possum. Cynical and pragmatic -possibly a distinctive trait for the member of a species who trains in playing dead when in danger.

This strip supports that. I still think that the fur patterns of the opener of ways raccoon still matches better, but maybe that's the same one with Rick unsure who the raccoons shall be later...

Yeah, in the first strip Ink reminded me of Sasha. It seems from this one, however, that Ink is just really enthusiastic.

Right, with Falstaff and Truck doing a favor, there's a lot to pray and light up candles: they always get and cause troubles, and they could even forget to take the medicine because of need of food searching...

If we've already seen Custom Ink in past, she should definitely be this one, as already reported. Maybe here female raccoons haven't the facial mask?

Looking at the two of them, the only difference I can see are eyebrows. I assume that they are the same.

Falstaff & Truck seem to be like Robin Hood & Little John.....well....sort of....
But now I wonder why Ink ask the two. I mean are the three close friends, siblings or.....could it be that one of them is actually the father of Ink's son?
