Some people just don't know how to accept help. It fits her cynicism well enough, healthy or otherwise. Nice catch for her on the potential dosage difference, that may be intended for humans. This is the first strip in which Zach's coloring has seemed different to me without it being mentioned first.

Why do I think that the next strip will feature Jessica at Ink's home helping Tiny Tum while the other ferals get notice about Zach's selfless aid. And the following Strip on openermas showing the Arbelt's home overrun by ferals to paise the Opener of Ways.

There's a lot of other stuff in willow bark, and some of it is probably poisonous as well.

I just realized the whole thing with Ink is pretty much a reference to The Secret of NIMH.
Despite me praising that movie as the best animated feature of all time, I still didn't manage to catch that immediately.

That's not true, because the lining of the stomach is protecting the organ from being digested by itself from the stomach acid, PH scale of 1-2.Liam wrote:Really? I didn't say they'd take it *off* the market, I said that if it was introduced now it wouldn't be approved for general use as an OTC painkiller. Why? I love the willow-bark bit. It's cool that the ferals have low-tech ways to take care of themselves...
When I had West Nile, they had me on Prednisone at first, but switched me off to high doses of Ibuprofen (Advil), with Acetaminophen (Aspirin) to back it up if it wasn't powerful enough. They're two different kinda of drugs, so they combine well.
