Part of me has been hoping for some time that King's body was changed, but his DNA was not. With or without puppies involved, I like to consider the possibilities.

I like it. Smartly drawn and written. (The 'crack' is a bit preturbing(!))

The question of love is a dreamy nightmare;
especially for King whilst she's not there
When they wed, angelic dog choirs did sing
knowing they'd gained the one called King.
His plans askew and his plans well made
Pete fears his emotions have been too well played.
He never considered his own feelings here -
Does his subconscious hold King dear?
The nightmare in a nightmare's not a shock
but again it shows the questions unlock.
Does Pete care about anyone bar himself?
Is the word 'friend' only in a book on his shelf?
Does he have feelings for the noble Dragon?
How does he sleep, keeping the cap on?
The answers to none of these we'll discover...
except, maybe, how Bailey is as a mother.

Next panel...Dragon next to Pete saying "Or was it?" Pull back to see Kari next to her " I'd vote 'yes it was' " Last panel Great Kinsume wakes up. "Man, last time I eat on an empty stomach."

I love Pete's bed clothes.

I'd be freaked too if I gave birth to a furry Colin Mochrie. <.<;

And I totally didn't accidentally post this on the previous comic's thread by mistake.

I'd say that'd be a great sequel!

This reminds me of the video to the Gorillaz song "Dare". The guest vocalist, Shaun Ryder, appears as a giant dismembered head in Noodle's closet. At the end. He wakes up startled in bed, then shows that he was in bed with Gorillaz member Murdoc. Then Murdoc wakes up in his RV.

The first part with King's nightmare was hilarious, then I saw Pete's nightmare bit and I just lost it.

My insides are hurting so much now.

Love how Pete is the one dreaming of all of this. Or is he? :3
Pete Pajamas are indeed awesome.
That picture of Dragon in the corner is a nice touch as well.

4th panel. *Shivers*

Really creative and unpredictable. Nice job, Nick!

That picture of Dragon; what's that doing in Pete's room? I wonder what purpose it serves, a dartboard maybe? XD

Really, really nice artwork, and the story is even better! But yeesh, that puppy is one ugly mutt. Consider his heritage: half Siberian Husky, one quarter Pembroke Welsh Corgi, one quarter PETA worker... (And nobody has adopted "Prince" for an avatar, yet!)

@Welsh Halfwit's handle is a play on Welsh Rarebit, a concoction of melted cheese, ale and toast. The stuff is delicious, even habit forming, but it has a reputation for causing (thank you, Jimmy Buffett) some tremulous dreams. King is, of course, a Welsh Corgi, and Little Nemo in Slumberland creator Winsor McCay once wrote and drew another strip called Dream of the Rarebit Fiend.

All of which makes me wonder, "What has Pete been eating?" And yet think, "Boy, did he deserve it..."

This is really clean and well done for a hand-drawn comic. And that lettering! Lots of little jokes in the background too, I love stuff like that! Good way to start off the week =)

Funny and amazing, great work! :D Loving the hand drawing, details attention and coloring. ;)
Pete is too sadistic to dream of King having a so scaring nightmare, but fortunately, it's scaring also for him. :P You call that thing beautiful, Bailey? :? Pete is so terrifying with the twisted neck, that's more to be only a jerk... And finally, Pete looks so old with that pajama.
Can't wait to see more guest strips. :)

I believe the "Halfwit" part is a reference to William Shakespeare, given his penchant for iambic pentameter.

In part it's both of those. It's also a bit of self depreciative humour, in that I'm only half as witty as I think I am. It started on a MMORPG where I annoyed a few by non stop taking the mick until I changed my name to it. I quieted down. And, do you know, I've never had to fight to get it on any talkboard?

Or the OK GO video for their remake of the "Muppet Show" theme.

Hello everyone,
Sorry for this extremely belated post, but I wanted to express my gratitude to Rick Griffin for exhibiting my comic and for the positive feedback from everyone. Thank you... And, yes, I did have a temporary lapse in sanity when drawing this.

This comic made me laugh. Wonder what Pete is thinking after that dream. One of my favorite comics when I saw it.
