King may self-identify as a dog at this point but his mindset is still very human; he can't let himself just enjoy his current situation as easily as Fox seems to. All this seems to tie in nicely with what we know about King's soul still being in dispute. I can't help but wonder if they're was the motive of whatever deity chose for him to come here; they're trying to figure out exactly where his soul should fall.

If that's the case it seems King is still in the middle somewhere...

You're exaggerating with enjoying your time there, worrying too (indeed, you can't get more serene, but it's not because of Heaven)... Ok the VIP treatment, the girls and even the water park, but well six months passed are being unacceptable... Come on, you're there for other important things, not to have a vacation!

There's Pete to stop and Bailey to save! Fox really changed humor, it's obvious why, good for him.

Fortunately, this place is a state of mind and time doesn't count, because we know that after have eat lot of food, you haven't to take a bath... It's to you, King.

Maybe. Darjeeling is one of the most fine black teas. In the second panel, King is holding a tea cup. So, he really did drink tea.

I'm starting to get that vibe that Dragon might've set him up for the VIP in Heaven for more than just feeling sorry for him now. 6 months is a heck of a long time.

Thinking about it more from the last comic, I once had a feeling that Dragon was just as stubborn as Pete in losing this game they are playing. I wonder if she is trying to tempt King from going back to Bailey so she can defeat Pete's Avatar once and for all?

Seriously, he's been asked to heaven or an unknown reason while he needs to save his wife.
If I was in this dog/guy's I'd be searching for answers and inquiring cerberus's ears off (All six of them).

Fox if you really want to know why King has been complaining about heaven for the last six months. The phrase, "Heaven is not enough." comes to mind. He's missing out on his slice of heaven because he can't be with Bailey. No offense Fox but once you missed your chance with Sasha you've never had that kind of a deep relationship with a girl. Other than the female's you've picked up in heaven after talking to some of them because they think you look good at King's suggestion. I'm glad you're enjoying yourself in Heaven Fox, but for King, "Heaven is not enough." (Also I know I'm new to the forums but I've been an avid follower for some time. I just felt like needing to have this expressed about this weeks Friday comic.)

He's waiting to be called into an audience. And given that it took the powers-that-be a couple of years to get around to sending Cerberus down to pick him up, it could easily be another year or two heaven-time before he gets his turn.

That's good. I was getting scared that they would miss Christmas.

Also, with the arising discussion of Fox keeping his new girlfriend(s) past this arc; I for one not not agree with this notion. It all just seems too random, too sudden. I would rather Fox be paired up with someone with a richer backstory (a character we're already familiar with?), or stay single, because the introduction of ~~this~~ these new characters feels too much like a "deus ex machina" (forgive me if I'm misusing this term) just so Rick could satisfy the shippers. I really hope there's a bigger purpose for the two unnamed denizens of heaven other than eye candy, because if they happen to not push the plot forward, they would just be pointless characters. Just my opinion though, I'm not a shipper of any form myself.

perhaps, instead, this experience will serve Fox to build more self confidence when he'll be back to Earth and make that old dream come true
