[ It Makes The World Go Round ]

Title Text: If hating yourself for being unselfish isn't love, I don't know what love is

King's hate for the space whale is now clearly established. In case anyone was wondering

This really makes me love King even more. He knows whats at stake and is willing to risk his own happiness and his life as a dog for Baileys well being.

I am glad to see that this discussion is happening, actually I am glad since I went to school and got a BA Music and religious studies/philosophy. So to see a good calm debate about this make me happy. I kinda stay away from the whole arc cause I kinda saw where this was going to lead. But I am happy that Joel ( as much as I love him) was set in his place. His self-entitlement attitude was getting me to the point where I felt he was never going to change. He even excluded himself from heaven (which was troubling for me to read). So when he was told how things are and what he can be judge for, it made me smile that he beginning to realize it no longer about his right or what he wants. I hope this progress further and we can finally see the transformation that he need to be a better person (something that he said he try to do but never did). I can go into further with the discussion at hand but most of you have come with valid point from both side of the field and I like that, so I will enjoy seeing this play out and put in input near the end of the arc.

It is nice to see King take a deep breath and basically just speak his feelings, rather than shout at everyone expecting them to heed.

On the other hand it is very tiring to have to jumping through hoops when to you, the life of the one you love is in danger.

I know, that went much more smoothly than I thought it would. It was nice for the lightbulb to go off in King's head when Bahamut told him about why he doesn't punish immediately in the last strip. Maybe now he start changing for the better. I love how King has grown, but still (and I'm wondering if I'm the only one), I would also love to see how he would apply what he's learned as Joel.

Really like the panelling in this one, although I wonder why King is upside down on the first one and right side up on the last panel, could it mean something like King finally making his decision?

Only thing that upsets me right about now is that this kind of foreshadowing was always there, but I get a kick out of how Joel literally had to get Heaven itself to stubbornly tell him that nothing is going to change. I kick myself thinking Joel/King is smarter than that out of the rest of the cast, but then again, he is as stubborn as a stubborn grandfather. That's always been our own flaw.

But what I really like about this foreshadowing is what it will lead to. It's clear he wants to stop this, but he wants to take the easy way out and complain to the boss of everything that happened, but if the boss says it has to happen, then it's gotta happen. My prediction is, if the next comic is the last of the two parter, I'm sure the reveal is that he's going to get sent back to assist Bailey, they beat Tarot and Sabrina, and Pete wins. He was counting on King to return. :O ...unless Dragon anticipated that as well. In that case, I really can't predict what will happen after that since it's possible Dragon can win.

Either way, I'm excited. X3

Middle panel is epicly cool. Especially Sabrina, without whom Fido would have no have against mystic beings in battle.

..............Although, I can't believe this fight has been going on for 6+ months.
