It took me til now to realize that Pete's shirt has been changing... I feel dumb. Also, I'm wondering what happens now that the game is technically over. We'll find out soon~! *giddy noises*

They really aren't bad people, just idiots who have some issues and don't really think about what they do to other people. They just don't seem to have the perspective to look at what they are doing and see how childish it is. Its just that doesn't absolve them from having been selfish jerks. Heck I would say that they didn't actually care how what they did effected others really.

I think you're on to something there! Side-project - 'shop a fitting shirt on Pete in every panel he is in. :)

I'm taking the shirt-quotes presence in the scene as a sign of Pete's sense of futility in general, but wondering if I'm missing other associations it has in this strip, maybe a comment on the mortal existence?

I like how the comic first led us to believe that there is a good side, and there is a bad side, only to later show that there are both good, and bad within Pete and Dragon.

The world will be a better place if we forgo the black and white view, and embrace the existence of both sides from each party. The world is never divided into black and white, never only good side vs bad side, or only us vs them. If we look into it deeply enough, there are always some commonalities within both parties of any conflicts. The world is made of multiple shades of grays, not just black and white.

I mean yeah Pete DID some things with his life, but....well here is the irony, thanks to Pete and the game Joel became King and his life got better. Even if Pete tried to do some terrible things with him.

I hope Pete is being sincere. I'm feeling a bit sorry for him, he's also a victim...

For another time, Cerberus, who's too awesome for Pete (his words), showed to dominate and control him, this time requiring only one hand on the shoulder. She was needed, and she's doing her part like a boss.

We'll see Joel's reply to this.
Yeah, Spirit Dragon, in a way you've been a terrible person, with troubles given to Tarot and Peanut, but this sounds too little compared with what Pete has done... A good thing is that when she cries, starts raining: you can be very helpful in some deserts.

I don't know why I have been thinking of it, but is it possible that Dragon might have orchestrated the break-up between Max and Sabrina? Sabrina did say something about her attitude towards her exes. I know there is probably more than one, but still it got me to wondering if Dragon broke her up with all of them because she deemed them unsuitable partners for her avatar.

Though I doubt she would care about what she did to Jata.

Anyone else want to bet that Karishad is the great Kitsune? They act very similarly, have never been seen together and (most importantly) Karishad has been missing for seven frames now. (Just as Pete and Dragon walked in, and right before Kitsune and Cerberus)
