Wow - Fox going off to the K-9 academy! If he does, he could work with his dad.

Wait, does Fox mean that he wants to avoid Fido because he found out he's a cat lover? Not a great plan, considering Fox will probably be in the same unit once he graduates - then it will be awkward.

I wonder if those two will become Fox's guardian angels at some point?

Hm. I can see Fox joining the K9 Academy, would be a interesting development for his character (BTW, that pink dog is cute!)

'though this just crossed my mind: I wonder what Rex has been doing these past arcs. I don't recall seeing him at all.

Hearing that a Fox wants to join his local unit
may make Fido foolishly consider Karishad;
a gent best known as chaos with a devilment remit
and a name to make them all shudder to infinity.
They should come and visit him, these paragons of sweetness,
making their virtuous nature seen in the Gardens.
To counteract the despair caused by Bino and his duchess

Could you just imagine what it would be like if there were other people in the same predicament as Fox? Heavenly girls just making calls like that to him like they were ghosts and he never responds appropriately because they just either do it wrong or have bad timing for the rest of his life?

Also, glad to see Fox taking the decision to try out for K-9 Academy, I can see King is referring back to Fox's dream of being muscular and lucky with the ladies. Even though as mentioned earlier, missed opportunity.

even if he doesn't know the number... he already said, they tried multible tries, it can be important, right? (Just because the number is unknown to you, doesn't mean it's someone you don't know). He could just pick up, ramble down, that he is in Australia and will call back as soon, as he is in the US back again. The way he deals with it right now... is very "unprofessional". What if his owner is looking for him? (I wonder what the owners are up to right now, or are they aware of the extreme free-will of their pets)....
