I'm not sure what tragedy has befallen the strip that there happens to be a male character who is flirting uncomfortably with another male character. Surely this thing has never happened before in the history of silly cartoon fiction.

I mess up gender cues all the time. For the past couple of years when I was younger, I thought Blue from "Blue's Clues" was a guy and that "Periwinkle" was a girl. Other way around.

Kinda reminds me of when I was little I thought that ashes pikachu was a girl
