First steps; not so good.
I can't see when in this hood.
The Grinch grabbed Cindy Lou
Now whatever shall we do?
Who's the hero of this thing?
Who's the one to who ladies cling?
Who's the one evil attacks
And why is their henchcat just called Max?
This adventure might take an age
if we can't even cross the stage.
This could be the most challenging of shows...
Uh, Rudy? I'm just borrowing your nose...

As George's nose lit up the sky so bright
Our heroes were to defeat the grinch in just one night

Peanut: Joey! Stop narrating in rhymes.
Joey: You stole my role!
Hello, my baby
Hello, my honey
Hello, my ragtime gaaal

Sign of a great performance; going strong despite a screw-up. But as this was improv to begin with, can it even be called a screw-up?

George the red nosed dog thing shall rule the long lost kingdom of Kringle with an iron fist and defeat the evil armies of the Grinch who 'borrowed' Christmas with the powers of plot convenience.

Of course! The M on Marvin's collar never stood for Marvin! it stood for Max!

though it is interesting to consider that the grinch's dog must speak in this world

I don't think Joey will take too kindly that Peanut stole his role, and I am sure Zach would have rather had Peanut steal his rule. :D

I guess this could have turned out better.

I AM TALKING TO YOU JOEY! YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER! :P

I wonder if Rick has taken inspiration for this strip from Hlaoroo's comment on Wednesday.
We do have proof that Rick at least glances at the forum every now and then so it's not unthinkable.
Hlaoroo wrote:I always wondered how they can see with those bags on their heads. I'm just waiting for an Imaginate arc where they all run into each other and fall over because of the hats. :P
Also we have rarely seen 4 of the 6 Milton Ferets.
Lana has only been seen 14 times, Duke 13 times, Pit has only been seen 8 and poor Simon has only been seen 7 times in his 5 years on Housepets. The last time was 9 months ago.

"How can they see though those bags" has been a pretty regular theme in the comments and forums.

If y'all have seen flight of dragons, you'd know that this isn't really improv (mostly).

Lord, this comic arc has had me going through a nostalgic phase. I watched fight of dragons for the first time in years the other night because of this arc.

Though Rick should throw in a twist that the grinch was actually hired by Scrooge (one of the ferrets)

Poor Joey - his roles appear to be cut short almost as a rule.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

It's like that Star Trek: Voyager episode, only that here the magic(k) is Christmas-powered.

Man, Peanut and Joey are just two nice guys that don't get along. I'm sure there is a reference in there somewhere, but my mind is drawing a blank right now =P

Love how three normally drawn-out scenarios in movies are done in just one panel: Kidnapping, damsels and rescuing. (they all require a chase scene)

Looks a real mess now. The fusion didn't really worked well, poor Joey. Yeah, something that should be magic happened, so stay in character, Joey, don't ruin the show... :P Marvin is interpreting a character called "Max": there must be something wrong. :P

Due to their earlier appearances I have always perceived Max and Marvin to be friends, and this strip is hilarious because of that! XD

Max was the Grinch's dog, who the Grinch dressed up as a reindeer (with one antler) and made pull his sleigh.

Looks like all three Arbelt pets are the butt monkeys in this piece. The should be entertaining.
