He self-identifies as a Bond villain. That's good enough for me.

Now whenever I see this clip I imagine a piano version of "Oh Christmas Tree" is playing as soon as Bruce switches the light on.

I guess now a good question to ask would be this:

How DID Keene find out that the Roos went missing?

Rock probably called him from the ship.

Rock probably told him, to which Keene probably reacted by either stranding him in the middle of nowhere or leaving him to the mercy of Karishad. And if Rock neglected to tell Keene, the zoo probably would have contacted him.

I've always seen Roosevelt as more the... "emotionally expressive" roo of the pair. Not particularly grumpy, just very expressive and reactive to the goings-ons around him. Which just tend to be hijinks, shenanigans, and sissy sports.

Bruce, on the other paw, strikes me as more down-to-earth but no-nonsense.

Granted, this is ALL horribly stretched speculation. We haven't seen nearly enough of these roos to know what they're really like. Hopefully that will be remedied? <3

I absolutely loved this strip. It made me cry. Ahhhhhhhhh! They're so cute!!! :D

I really loved this strip, that couple is one of my favourites. But I am a little curious, however, how the arc will continue now that the Christmas play ended.

By the way, maybe I missed something, but i' curious why so many of you assume that Keene is evil ?. In my view, he is someone who believes that the end justifies the means, and has no problem being something cruel in that way, but his "ends" are helping animals; he does not seem someone who enjoys the pain of others. I think the worst we saw him do was call Jata. And that was not a matter of life or death. Jata in my opinion was not evil (at most a little jerk), and he was really in love with Sabrina (who otherwise was part of the game "dragon vs pete"). Moreover, long before being "follower" of Pete, Keene gave a home to wolves and King; he organized free for the village fairs, I do not see him as someone "evil". my opinion of course;)

He self-identifies with the Bond villain archetype. How much is play-acting and how much is real and how much doesn't matter because, after all, he's crazy like a weasel... um, where was I?

Indeed, we had to know the epilogue of the two kangaroos flight, nice surprise. :) It's just great see a sweet emotional ending for them, finally back home with a great surprise. :D And it's by Keene! :o So, there are pieces of heart between your powers and money. :P Don't be so shy and false writing all those post scriptum on the letter, you're a benefactor, after all... ;)

I'd imagine that Keene is crazy and probably a lot more crazier since Karishad is now on his payroll (I wonder how he pays him anyway) but I never believed that he was stingy and greedy. If anything, I thought that Rock would be the type as he didn't care about how the others would get home and freaked out when Cerberus told him if he didn't figure something out, his family would have a massive tax audit.

I always thought Keene took on this role in this arc because no other character would fit as well as he did. Not because he's evil but because he's intelligent and rich. Bino is probably more malicious than Keene, but he's not as good at planning things out or being a viable opponent. I always thought of that arc as just the animals having a fun time much to Zach's chagrin. The closest we've had to Keene really being evil is him pushing Sabrina to marry that prince a year or so ago and although the end did not justify the means for his actions, his intentions for doing so could be argued to be good.

If anything, I'd say that Keene isn't good or evil but a morally ambiguous character who wants to do good but his love of money and devotion to personal values often clouds his judgement.
Signed,

As I said before, I think Keene is really doing this out of compassion since he's been in this kind of scenario before, when Karishad locked him in the ferret pen at Christmastime :3

Keene's never been the bad guy: he just has lofty goals which are noble and go against the status-quo. Sometimes that means other people's needs fall by the wayside, but that doesn't mean he isn't a good person in the end.

RT @RicksWriting: Coming up: Short and silly Housepets arc focusing on a minor character

Edit: One of Joey's friends, Marvin, Duke, Lucretia, Rufus, Rabid Raccoon, or Saucy Vixen according to a later tweet.

My money's on Duke.

It would be.
