Love Kimgs swagger in the third panel.
The binary opposites of panels 2 and 3 's ideas of a good year are hilarious.
When I see panels 2 and 3 I think of two very rich couples preparing to compete in a tennis tournament.
Kyuunado is right, their is absolutely no way King in panel three won't be an avatar.

Forgot Pit's name, had to look at tags.

3rd panel: Now don't go saying that King, because you may have just jinxed it.

4th panel: I wonder how soon she can do that. I think your work is going well with Bino there.

I think that they are all going to have a great year, but it may not turn out to be what they wanted.

I just noticed that King, Bailey and Peanut all have blue eyes.

Don't put your hopes up for that King, you live with wolves and billionaire ferrets, not to mention a wedding anniversary coming up!

I'm probably in the minority for not buying Bino and Duchess' relationship, but since they got together Bino has changed mostly from a paranoid egomaniac with a need to be leader to a villain's sidekick. It might be because the relationship is clearly one sided that makes it funny.

Bino looks obsessed, possessed even.
Great to see Pit again. He has only been in 9 strips (including this one) since we first saw him 6 years ago.
That orange microphone is nearly as big as Pits head.
We need more night time strips next year seeing as some of Ricks absolutely best drawn and coloured strips were dimly lit.Take the end of temple crashes and the later half of rabbits foot for example. They were beautifully done.
Some how I knew dtlux1 was going to use the King panel first for an avatar.

There's a new theory going around that Cilantro (Cody) may be the fused reincarnation of Pete and Dragon, and something tells me that Kitsune played a part in choosing their form (remember the Yin-Yang symbol he was wearing around his neck?)...

But anyways, I think this strip is Rick's subtle (or maybe, not so subtle) way of telling us what to expect in the coming year. Or perhaps the complete opposite.

Just because Jess is familiar with them does not mean the theory is shot down. They have subjective time, so they could have been put back in time a little.

Kingley has been through enough. Also, I'm calling Bino and Duchess Dino. And this just proves that Duchess is the most vain and bratty girl around. Her and Bino deserve each other.

I think Cory is Pete and Trinket is Dragon.

That's good, Peanut, just don't make it so much adventurous like it was in the Gallifrax dimension, but it's great that you always accept Grape's company.

You won't never renounce to that, but instead Grape...

Well, that's going to be obvious, King. You can also count on Bailey's protection.

That's bold, and you'll do it pretty like you tried to do with King, Duchess? Seeing the progress done with Bino, looks that you'll fail at it with any dog.

Why you should, Pit? Don't cut that, it's an important info for all dogs.
