I think Cory is Pete and Trinket is Dragon.

Same here. Although I can understand Cory, it's Trinket I can't understand. Maybe it's because we haven't gotten a real good up close look at him/her, I can't see any real traits he/she might share with Dragon or Pete. Cory, on the other hand, has very similar characteristics of both (eyes aside, he's got Pete's Charisma and Dragon's Lust).
