Since it was brought up, does anyone realize how racist Bill is being here?

Wolves bring in "Violence, Drugs, and Gambling".

That's incredibly bigoted of him, and even worse that he says it out loud...

Well Bill has lived in a bubble most of his life. I'm sure he is used to them now.

He's not being racist, he's just being logical. He said that most of the time violence, drugs and gambling where involved, so he has a right to be suspicious.

I was browsing around the archives and I have some references to height.

So, Jata whom I call El buffo. Is approximately human height, compared here.

Here is uncle Deadeye compared to Jata

Lastly, here is Miles and Lucretia compared to Uncle Deadeye.

Apologies for the big post, but I think it helps give a height context to the wolves.

All three panels in this strip especially the second one make good avatars.
In the 25Th arc: the visitor, miles appears to be nearly twice the height of Peanut yet slightly shorter than Mr Sandwich.
Lucretia is about a head shorter than Miles so the lady in the strip is undoubtably average if not a bit taller than average.

Is it just me or does Mrs. McLuhan resemble the old lady from this strip?

Since that's a clear reference to common prejudices of post-segregation era America, no.

And now we should drop that talk because it's against the rules.

They could easily be the same and Rick just named her now or he could have forgot. Just like he forgot with Bino's owner's name.

Well, the same but in an alternate (our) unniverse. With regards to her name a plenty of characters don't get named upon first random appearance but will later on e.g. Joeys creepy friends.

I don't think it's our universe - there are only 5 movies in the Air Bud series in our universe. :P
My theory is that the Housepets! Universe is in a separate universal plane from ours, and Gallifrax is an alternate reality within their universe that resembles ours

Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Im sure it's a coincidence. The old lady from that strip was an avatar of Spirit Dragon.

I wasn't disputing that. I was just thinking - if the sentence is a minimum of 60 years... ;)
But like I said - nah.

And back to this topic, I don't think either of them was incarnated as an old lady. Rick probably has some big plans/shocking twists to bring them back.

Also I love how her answer to do you watch soap operas was religiously.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if the wolves believe in the Open of Ways like the rest of the forest critters do.

Were they introduced before Keene started his program or after?
