A successful tackle has less to do with momentum than it does catching your target off guard.

Kevin finally has some worthy competition in his tackle-[insert any game here] games.

Anyone who thought it was the other thing and Kevin passed out at the thought.... You have dirty minds and you're not alone.
Walking in a Winter-worn Wood,
Two dogs chat to pass a good time.
Stalking through the same old hood,
a Cat plans out her perfect crime.
The dogs talk about some old slights
of judgement and of Fido's feeling.
The Cat plans of her secret delights
as they pass by where she's kneeling.
The little dog laughs to see such fun
as the 'ambush' comes as surprise;
Fido and Sab may have to run
once Kevin stops seeing the skies...

Great job guys though weres Hukley? He should be here to receive his praise. Now what's this I hear about 60,000 posts. Well Fido sure looks smug. Great artistry as well, you emphasised Kevin's mood realy well.

I thought cats tackled anyway, or is there a difference between tackling and pouncing?

Well, she once did a flying kick on a malamute.
And why did Kevin call Fido Tiger? I know Kevin isn't that dumb...or is he?

'Tiger' is also a way to address to a friend.kavviyenta wrote:Well, she once did a flying kick on a malamute.

Admittedly, first time I saw it used was back when Mary Jane Watson introduced herself to Peter Parker.

So who is "^_^" and who needs a vet? It could be either. Sabrina could have enjoyed it or got hurt tackling over someone who looks like a brick. Kevin DEFINITELY would have enjoyed the tackle, unless he landed in a painful way.
Re: 2015/01/16 - The Things We Do
At least Kevin has a tackle buddy.
Great job, Val and Hukley!

Nice strip. We must watch out from Sabrina's tackles, then. Curious how Fido lets permit her to do it to Kevin. BTW, cats use to tackle something, sometimes (yarn balls and such). In the last panel is visible some revenge inside Fido...
Great work Hukley and Valerio!

Well if you take it into consideration that a cat is normally faster than a dog, and that cats can climb trees, you can account for the mixture of the force of gravity and applied force, especially if she was leaping from a perfect horizontal incli--*BRICK'D!*Obbl wrote:Title Text: Don't ask where she gets the extra momentum, some things are best left unknown

I must say it's a pity these guest strips don't get as much attention as the others.
Was the new forum banner also a conjoined effort, or just Huckley's work?

20th century fox? Given that this is the year 2020, that fox must be dead by now. Sadface! : (

Yeah, his description says he likes to make tackle variations of various games on the character page. I think one of the non-canon All of the King's Men stories also has him liking video games.

Re: 2015/01/16 - The Things We Do
In the new banner at the top of the website I am going to say the dog on the right is sasha but who's on the left in the snow pile, I think it may be fox judging by the fur colour and his friendship with the rest of the group.

... which is completely unrelated to the current strip...
... You wouldn't want to be responsible for dragging this thread off topic, would you? *peers*
but yes, it does appear to be Fox
