I know EXACTLY how Grape feels being woken up too early (espcially after it snows...ugh I hate shoveling). Also, 'son of a fish tinner' is now my favorite word and I'll probably say it out in public sometime

Love Mr. Sandwich's line. Reminds me of the play fighting my older brother and I used to have (though without the neck-wringing).
Though a note, when you hear an elbow pop, it's a good sign to stop.

Also, that alt. text sounds incredibly familiar. Can someone tell me if it's from anything?

wow, for one of the defining points of their relationship for the fans, it's weird how rarely Peanut wakes Grape from her naps.
It's been 2 years since the last time (unless you count the one in October where she's with Max. she didn't seem to actually be asleep) and the one before that was another 2 years back.
altogether the situation has only happened 8 times before this. one time she was only about to take a nap, and I already mentioned the time with Max where she wasn't upset enough to have been asleep or trying to sleep. so that's really only 7 times including this one.

that being said, it's good to see this situation again

Huh. I guess you're right. It seems like it happens a lot more than that. It's interesting that it's the fun, little things that you remember the most about comics.

Also, the last time Peanut and Grape were in a comic was last year. Not counting Guest Comics that is.

OH NO!!! Shipping has returned. It's good to take a break and get back to Housepets roots every now and then. Would Grape be imprisoned if she murdered Peanut. It sounds logical but didn't Joel say that pets don't have to obey the law.

What Joel said was "When your kind breaks the law, you don't get read your rights by anyone, dog or otherwise." Animals are considered property and, thus, do not have the same legal rights as humans.

I wouldn't call this "shipping," it's just revisiting a familiar joke and not something romantic or suggestive of romance.
