After rough-and-tumble horseplay* with Uncle Deadeye, I doubt a bear qualifies as any kind of big deal.

* Why horseplay? Horses are herbivores! Euch!

It's a so funny moment. :D So, that's the fearsome bear? :P From the roar it could be a lion, but instead, it's simply a sleepy bear. :P Bino, consider yourself lucky, because it's winter and bears go in lethargy, and because probably you've passed the first test. :) Poor Bino, but a sleepy bear plop shouldn't hurt more than a Bailey's fist in the face. ;) Well, now see the positive sides, Bino: the hit didn't hurt you so bad, you're having a nice warmth and you became her pillow. :P
Natalie's nonchalance is the best. :D Maybe can born a special relationship between the two. After Zach and Jessica, it can happen again... ;) Uhm, so Bruno the bear is female, but the name is tricky.

Yes, she did.

I think this is the first time we see a bear in Housepets.

For a fearsome-rite-of-passage-challenge bear, Bruno's actually pretty cute.

I like the look on Bruno's face on the fifth page, 'A domestic, really?'.

Anyone else feel like Natalie + Bino may be the next big thing? I mean, nothing against Duchess, but I like Natalie a lot more already!
I thought about changing my signature but decided against it, it's too much work!

And poor Bino has met with a grizzly fate. *bricked*

As fun as it would be to see Bino get together with Natalie, I just don't see it happening. It doesn't look like Natalie cares enough about anyone to actually start a relationship with someone.

I had faith that he would fail. Does that count? xD

D'aww...big ol' Bruno found a new toy to cuddle with. Isn't that sweet? Perhaps we should let her keep him for now. How long does winter last again?

Who here ships Brino? (Bruino? Buno?)

Nah, we've seen this guy.

Natalie's earlier appearances seem to show her being rather irritated at the prospect of not being in a relationship though. Take this strip for example.

She seems rather annoyed by Rodney and Snow's cuddling too. Though it could have been disgust.

However, this strip seems to show otherwise.

Interesting character, this Natalie :)

She's probably given up on the prospects of a relationship - that'd explain why she's so snarky.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

I think the last one just shows she kinda has high standards of love, she seems jealous of people being together, getting kids and even getting married, but all she gets is a paper card.

I kind of miss the days were you couldn't tell the characters' gender by looks alone, but on how they acted and what they said, that was an interesting feature in the comic.
I'm glad Rick kept drawing everyone with Popeye arms, though. They are hilarious!

It's actually an acronym for Weekly Ornithologist Langeritis Fiction.

Good thing he doesn't live on the southern hemisphere, where it's summer, or he'd have a hard time! Then again, there aren't many bears living south of the Ecuator at all, so I guess he would fare even better....
20th century fox? Given that this is the year 2020, that fox must be dead by now. Sadface! : (
