Figures this would be the case. Wonder how he escaped Bruno, though.

Who thinks that after this, Skip will show up to the wolves, and complain about a random dog that landed on him, just to add ANOTHER bit of insult?

To be fair, I'm almost certain Bino slightly altered the story to steer around certain parts of it that would further wound his ego...like being unable to find the scarf this whole time, accidentally falling in the chasm, slaming his face into a tree branch, being told to lose some weight immediately afterward, and then being reduced to a sleepy bear's snuggle toy for however long. xD

It probably went along the lines of him finding the scarf quickly before deciding to spend the rest of the day hunting the bird of prey on his own, jumping into the chasm willingly in order to land on the bird and tame it, which he successfully did and directed it to land gracefully without the bird making any snide remarks about his weight...then he decided to have another go at the bear, an epic fight ensued and that's how his head got bruised.

...Or, maybe I'm wrong and Bino actually told the whole truth for once. xD Stranger things have happened.

That's so crazy that they wouldn't believe him, especially not after all the lies and ego-boosting fabrications that have passed through his lips since his arrival, what a crazy thought!

Bino must have dropped the feather and flag while he was being dragged away by Bruno, or left them in Bruno's cave as he was fleeing. I mean, with an eagle feather, how could they deny he completed at least that part of the challenge? Or they could sniff Bino - he should have some of Skip's scent on him.

He should ask Bruno and the eagle to confirm his story. Although they might mention how pathetic(and/or heavy) he was, they would at least prove that he was telling the truth.

Well I knew that was coming. No matter how mean you think it is, Bino is the buttmonkey and nothing you can say or do will change that. Rick's mind is made up on that. I think he sees it as karma.

Lets see what happens next. I'd imagine him not getting promoted to wolf and being chased off the premises.

This happened many hours later, deal with Bruno the bear surely took all the night.

Wagging Bino wishes to be believed, but it's indeed impossible without a convincing proof... And the cute cub isn't neither helping him.

Usual trick there. A child's imagination can do anything, but they also reveal truths.

Resign yourself, Bino, you won't become a wolf...

Which of the two Daryl does Bino remind? Both? Probably it's only the other Daryl.

The third panel is so cute.

But it's so also the fourth one, with the nose grabbing.

Well, it could be just something to show motion, seeing as Bino would probably be wagging his tail because of his great success, also it isn't seen in the other panel where his tail is shown... Well either way, it doesn't matter, but what does matter is the fact that Rodney's cub is sooooooo cute!

My favourite part of the comic is Bino's face in that first panel. He's so confident with that "Oh, yes. I got this in the bag!" look. And he's likely fed them the story of how he conquered a hawk mid-flight. =P

Seriously, I could not have said it better. Characters being told that what they truly did is an outrageous lie, or even worse, being blamed for something they never did, is the quickest way to get me to dislike a story. Not that I dislike Housepets, but he had better find a way to prove that he actually did what he did, even if it means asking the eagle or Bruno to vouch for him.

Yeah. That's not gonna happen. Skip or Bruno are not gonna vouch for him, he's not gonna become a wolf and he probably will be kicked out of the GODC. Like I said, Rick designated him as the buttmonkey, and he doesn't really care is you dislike that because he works hard on the comic and there are many more people that will like it.

I'm not particularly fond of Bino either, but the truth being disregarded as "ridiculous lies" always drives me up the wall, no matter who's the story's current Cassandra.
