'The customer's always right'
is an idiom that's often wrong.
If they ignore your advice, Itsuki,
you can take them for a song.
Sometimes they have to learn,
sometimes they have to listen
when you tell them, Itsuki,
it's water makes the car glisten.
You don't need to argue
or knock their view of truth;
although it does you credit, Itsuki,
just get that car in the booth!

Itsuki you should be glad if your being paid for it.
Congratulations ChekeBello that was a small mistake that would have been heavily penalized by Cinemasins if housepets was a movie. Like Frodos sword that is stated to glow near goblins, not actually glowing near the goblins in the lord of the rings.

Just certain characters, I think, perhaps for historical reasons. What I was thinking was that he was getting more creative about hiding Earl's face.

I wonder if he knows Scotty's secret too?

Also, There Is No Ring.

Seems like Rick is gunna keep the revelation of the owners' faces a one-time shtick.

She told Itsuki to change the oil, but the Earl hasn't changed one bit!

I actually had an oil change and a recall update done on the car's computer (Flash Firmware, the hero of the 21st Century!) last week. The car runs better than it ever did!

My brother worked as a mechanic for eight or ten years. One of the competing shops in town was still charging for "lube, oil and filter" long after virtually all American cars had permanent lubrication. The Emma Websters (you remember 'Granny' from the Warner Brothers' cartoons, right?) would still gladly pay the premium to have their
brand new, shiny red, super-stock Dodges serviced 'right'.

Why did Earl's ring change from his left hand in panel 2, to his right hand in panels 3 and 4?

Two possibilities.

1. There Is No Ring. Do you take the red tanuki-snack or the blue tanuki-snack?

2. It's the Two Ring. The Two Ring is less well known then the One Ring, because it isn't powerful enough to make its wearer invisible. All it can do is make itself invisible.

Well, maybe they can sell her two quarts of elbow grease and a bottle of headlight fluid while they're at it. She seems the type to be in demand of such products.

Nice to see again Isuki, and very good that he's still a mechanic working with Mr. Sandwich. :D The customer can be right, but how's possible don't know the kind of car you're driving and pretend that? :P Also, an elder lady is driving an electric car? Since when? :P ;) As a Japanese, you're really honest, Itsuki, continue that way. :) And that's what you call a secret? It's something totally normal, here. :P Don't think that you would get paid for doing nothing, indeed... ;)

"The customer is always right." Don't you just want to have a word with the person who coined that?

I work the pantry line at a restaurant, we get those kinds of people sometimes. For example, how do you expect us to serve a piece of tuna with no red in the middle, and don't want it overcooked!? You can't! At least they were understanding when it was explained to them, so could have been worse.

Nah...those weren't the actual people...those were the stunt people Rick hires to do all the heavy stuff. Remember that strip arc with Peanut attracted to the sound of Earl opening a bag? Rick would never let the actual Earl do anything like that. What if the bag exploded? What if a cleaning cloth soaked in disinfectant flew up and hit Earl in the eye? No...that was Earl's stand in stunt man who opened that bag. And Fido's owner riding a motorcycle? Do you know how high the insurance premiums are for something like that?

It's like when local tv stations (remember those?) showcase the backstage workers for Christmas broadcasts. Rick just wanted all the parent stunt people to have their day in the spotlight.
