I don't think we'll see King and Bailey in this arc at all, unfortunately. Since they had half of the last one to themselves, but I think had the roles been reversed (Grape and Peanut at the Fair), it would have been much more interesting IMO.

King was highly against cosmic/magic things for a long while, im pretty sure he would not like to know about this; and this is exactly why must get involved XD

I dont think the math can be really done, we are not sure Dragon had an Avatar all the time, Pete didnt have one for about 7000 yaers, so is not necesary to have one all the game. I think she just got one when needed/wanted something to be done, and that's why she had only 150 of them, not 'cuz really long animal lifespan

That's a pretty big jackal, BTW. Satau looks more the size of a wolf

RL jackals max out at 10-15kg, which isn't even particularly big for a dog. He should be about the same size as Karishad.

You forgot to consider that he is the second avatar, so there have "only" been 148 avatars in between, plus the fact that he and Tarot are not exactly at the start of their tennure.

The whole "trapped in the future" thing is easily explained. 'This one thing happened this way before so it must happen the same way now.' (Except Rose Tyler's dad...) (Insert Pandorica reference here)

What would be interesting to know is if the other 148 avatars knew each other through time travel parties. Which makes me wonder why Tarot wasn't invited...

Anyway, you could probably say that our new friend's "future" is time-locked. Quite simply, if Tarot knows that Mr. Jackal has a recorded history of him doing certain things then she must send him back and have the means with which to do so.

Well it's not that I don't like puffy Tarot so much as I just prefer how she used to be not as puffy. When she's puffy it actually makes her look sort of older.
