Take 2...
The ancientest conditions don't stir the Peanut mash
and, with a lack of fair contrition, he's an oncoming crash.
He's run out of tales of Luke, Han and their evil foes
and, it seems, he doesn't know of any other film foes.
He can't speak of Scarface, Joker, Freeze or Khan;
either would do. Running through to a true fan plan
he's out of the words for now; he'll just strangle Satau,
and reiterate his lack of cool, as subtle as a plough.
If Grape is still awake, Ptau's in for a real night;
if she's in a mood, he's in for more of a fight.
The Sandwich clan know how to hold a dispute…
Anyone else think those kittens are really cute?

Maybe Satau should gift Peanut with power for the DS that doesn't die. That will keep him a lot more happy in times when his DS is dying. LOL
Re: 2015/10/21 - Media Crazy
So they get back to the future and discover that Star Wars is now an obscure cult film from the mid '70s (shot in low budget but inexplicably starring Sean Connery), based on a controversial interpretation of some tomb paintings discovered by one Professor Jones in 1934. George Lucas is now known for the Blade Runner trilogy (and its horrible prequels), and Ridley Scott produced "The Matrix".

And everybody who went back to the past will freak out and have to go back to set right what was sent wrong.
Re: 2015/10/21 - Media Crazy
You think? I'd love to see a Ridley Scott version of "The Matrix". Or maybe they get back and discover this:

Well hey, at least Bruce Lee is still alive so that is good!

Is that a real post or was it something that was just photoshopped together?

Re: 2015/10/21 - Media Crazy
photoshopped, someone made a bunch of posters of "if recent movies were made decades ago"
which, with time travel and Star Wars being revealed to the ancients, all of them are possible.

Note that John Boorman is the same guy who created Zardoz (the above-referenced Sean Connery vehcle). "The Matrix" would totally be in character for him.

Poor Peanut, you'll probably never be referred to with "Master" again, should enjoy it while it lasts :l

And unfortunately for him, it didn't last very long.
Re: 2015/10/21 - Media Crazy
I don't really agree with that: after all, like Satau basically says, the only thing they can do is wait.Dissension wrote:Man, Peanut sure does have his priorities in order!
Thus, at this point, waiting for "Grape rescue" time to come, Peanut can't see another way to pass time than playing video games, maybe because talking with Tarot and the others won't change much (after all, Satau knows the cat village and knows where Ptah's hut is, so there's not really any use for strategy talking at this point)... and maybe isn't as fun as video games in Peanut's mind, I don't know.
And maybe also because Peanut thinks that Grape isn't really in danger, because he and the others don't know yet that Satau didn't tell Grape how dangerous Ptah actually is.
All this to say that it would be really out-of-character for Peanut to care more about playing video games than about saving his best friend / sister.
What do you guys think?
Re: 2015/10/21 - Media Crazy
"Peanut logic" swirls to its own cadences, sorta like a kaleidoscope in a cake mixer. Suddenly, story time is over [and, crumbs, those kittens are achingly adorable!], and having Sabrina beaming at him with bemused admiration snaps Peanut back to Grape. He's ready to ride. Then Satau wants to wait on the moonrise. Now, Peanut recalibrates..."Okay, wait, I can do that".... "But then what'll I do 'cause story drama got me all fired up and the kittens sent to bed and Grape's not here to play games and Sabrina, Tarot, and Satau don't play games and....MY GAMES !!!"
Yeah, Soerix, I kind of agree. Peanut's imagination mirrors a dervish but always returns to the center, his unwavering concern for his purple feline pal. Regards.

I know it is ^^ it implied that Peanut did NOT have his priorities in order.Obbl wrote:Um... this is sarcasmSoerix wrote:I don't really agree with thatDissension wrote:Man, Peanut sure does have his priorities in order!
That's why I said I don't agree with that: I said I thought he DOES know the most important thing at that point (rescuing Grape), but that he doesn't know how to pass the time since the only thing they can do is wait before he and the others can take care of the main priority: Grape's rescue.
Thanks, NHWestoN, for your description of Peanut's mind! ^^ I agree with it.
