Well...looking at the raging flames, hearing the warcries...I would say no. Well I guess she will get a new one

I love the title of the strip, because before I saw it, I had the same thought while seeing the last panel

I just hope this event wasn't the reason why Dragon had to get a new Avatar

Althought I doubt it cause the comic isn't that dark and grim.

I wonder if this will have any long lasting effects on the current time line in any way (Then again, time is a big ball of wibbly wobbly, timey wimey stuff)

I was gonna add a gif from Django Unchained, specifically the ending with Django smiling, but I had trouble withe Ah well.

I had the same thought, but maybe it's like in the Asterix comics, the gauls beat each other up and even while they use the magic potion...but on the other hand the magic potion make them near undestructible and the cats and dogs don't have something like that...soo...

On the other hand Housepets! isn't that dark so I guess nothing really bad will happen. Maybe we will see Ptah & Satau beaten up but laughing about all of that. Maybe the fight is just a more epic version of the third panel of this

Remember my theory that, in Housepets, time-travel doesn't actually change the timeline because it's already happened?

Observation 1: It seems like Time Travel doesn't change the timeline.
Observation 2: At the beginning of the game, Dragon cursed Pete's temple, which was a HUGE setback for him.
Observation 3: Dragon, despite the HUGE advantage, still had trouble against Pete.
Question: Why didn't she win in all that time?
Hypothesis: This is the event that set HER back.

Grape has something to do with Pete:

* She had a dream with Pete
* She has a feather of Pete
* She was there when Pete was put in freedom
* Grape made Ptah get angry turning this into a battle, setting a big drawback for Dragon

She can't actually attack his temple when it's hidden by The Curse Of The Mysterious Temple, because then it wouldn't be hidden any more? So she basically got an extra 7000 years of preparation time, but that's all.

Also is possible that after this event, she had to rebuild her temple in another place, losing 1000 years of advantage. By that, that means that Dragon could not find Pete's temple after she moved hers.
