Maybe she couldn't surpress all memories and because of the events of in this part, she will choose Tarot as her avatar later in the hope that it was thanks to Tarot that she will win the game? Okay Dragon didn't win the game, but she doesn't know that.

Now that I think about it, we shouldn't be surprised about things intending to happen. In one arc Peanut went to a convention with Tarot and got stuck in a mini time loop with himself that just didn't seem to end...same principle applies here. If something happens in the timeline, it's going to repeat itself. After the war broke out between the cats and dogs in Satau's time period, I think Sabrina said that they were the cause of the war that was in their history.

I want to see what happens if he declares a forfeit 5000 years in the past and Rick can then start Housepets over from the beginning and let us see what happens.

King never would be turned into a dog cause Pete wouldn't be around, therefore, never with Bailey and no pups.
Tarot would never show up to be Peanut's girlfriend so maybe him and Grape end up together.
Fox wouldn't have a best friend and thus may never have gained the confidence to try out for the canines.
The ferrets never would have had the temple and Keene wouldn't be so focused on it so maybe they just take over the world.
Zach would have never opened the temple, never would have been the "Opener of ways" and never met Jess.

So lets start all over and see new relationships and where all this goes. I'm ready with popcorn!

Getting Tarot with Peanut had nothing to do with breaking up Grape and Peanut. It had everything to do with Grape going after Maxwell leaving Peanut with no love interest and thus usable by Pete.
We're not sure if Sabrina and Fido was part of Dragon's matchmaking, but it's not like Sabrina and Maxwell are the most compatible couple we've seen (as per this latest arc and several prior hints) Their breakup was pretty surely inevitable whether or not Dragon was meddling
