Five bucks says the delivery is just children. No big deal. *Is silently vibrating with contained excitement*

My characters!
I got too many colors to remember. I'll put them here to see. Aren't they nice? Yep! Absolutely!
(There's actually 6 eggs, but I ran out of links)

It's nice to see Lucretia again. She's such a great mother.

Middle of August? Has it really been that long since previous story arc started?
Also, should Lucretia be more concered for Halloween instead?

Well, she does have a really big pack to look after. I wonder if the end of their zoo arc even showed all of them.
Re: 2015/11/27 - Baby Bump In The Night
No, this is more of a prologue. Next strip will introduce the arc title AND BAILEY SWEETLY NEAREST TO DELIVER! SQUEEEEEEWishIWasHearEarlier wrote:Middle of August? Has it really been that long since previous story arc started?

Well Lucretia is certainly more prepared than anyone I gave ever met.

I guess rotten food wouldn't be a wolf's worry. Just gives it more flavor, right?!
How much longer till she pops? Dog's stay preggo for about two months. I am so excited to see what the puppies look like!

I assume the delivery is just a pizza from some local restaurant. It must be the special they have going. Perhaps anchovies...
Nothing more.

Well, the arc title is listed as "Special Delivery". Feel free to draw whatever conclusions from that you want

Woah, it's August in the story arc but it's late November now. Time travel really messes with my head sometimes. @_@

That was the arc's prologue. The arc itself will start with its own title and in the right time.gamepopper wrote:Woah, it's August in the story arc but it's late November now. Time travel really messes with my head sometimes. @_@

Lucrecia's showing off her skills,
playing in the dead of the night;
knowing that, with her mad brood,
they're all going to want a bite.
Bringing comic time to real world,
crossing all the fourth wall wires,
Bailey sees that, to be a mum,
is a debt that honestly never tires.
The first of many nocturnal encounters
as the lovely ladies work night's ridge -
Lucrecia working on the table top
and Bailey raiding through the fridge...

I wonder if anyone showed Lucretia some techniques to speed up the process? Or if it's just that bad with the wolves?
And already moving onto the next arc? And Bailey's for that matter? Is there a miracle waiting for Rick at the end of this year? :3

They returned 20th November
Obviously in our time (I don't know how time works in HP!)

OMG! Bailey looks simply adorable in that first panel! Looks like it won't be long now!
The animated signature I've used for years is too big for this forum! When I get time, I'll have to deconstruct it and make it smaller!

Yes! As the title under the strip can assess, this will be a VERY special delivery INDEED!valerio wrote:No, this is more of a prologue. They are going to deliver all that food to the thanksgiving party in Rufus' farm. Yes, kids! After so much time, Rufus is finally back in the game (which you just lost)! And we will have, on popular demand, not one, not two, but SIX story arcs centered on our long-neglected hero.
But the fun doesn't stop there, no kiddies!
After that, we've got the very, VERY special delivery of the fantastic, fabulous, fantabulous Spots (superdog) 2016 special! One year of the most amazing animal hero of all time, including the once-in-a-lifetime issue in which he fights Krypto! I don't know why I am putting this in a spoiler tag but.... yeah... Spots (superdog) wins.
After that, I guess 2017 we'll start off with a story arc about... penguins or something.

20th century fox? Given that this is the year 2020, that fox must be dead by now. Sadface! : (

I agree with Lucrecia : it's never too late or early to prepare food for feed a full wolf pack , especially when there is some members as Daryl

Well she's really good at raising pups so Bailey might as well trust her now.

It's one of those fancy tables from the future that produces spices and condiments whenever someone gets near.ChekeBello wrote:did those spice just appear from nowhere? o.o

Or, for arguments sake, it's a table where, once perspectives and angles change, stuff that was previously out of sight (say, behind Bailey or Lucrecia) suddenly becomes visible and other items vanish behind people.tsMKG wrote:And deletes the chicken in a box when Bailey is nearSilly Zealot wrote:It's one of those fancy tables from the future that produces spices and condiments whenever someone gets near.ChekeBello wrote:did those spice just appear from nowhere? o.o

Clues point to that solution.SuperStar wrote:You seem so certain. Not that I don't think the same will happen, but you proclaim it as if you know it truly.valerio wrote:That was the arc's prologue. For example, NO arc title in panel 1, as it has become customary in the comic. And since it wasn't tagged as one-off but as part of te 'Special Delivery' arc, it strongly gives away the fact that it is a prologue
It is still possible that is is an in-between arc set in August, yes, but Rick never messed with timezones so far: if it is November in our world now, it must be November in the HPverse as well. One can say that this single strip happened during the '5000 bC arc', it is compatible.
Re: 2015/11/27 - Baby Bump In The Night
Well, yeah. As tsMKG mentioned, our heroes went to the past in August (both in universe and in the real world). They also returned in August (in universe) (not long after leaving). So even though the arc ran until November (in the real world), it could very easily still be August (in universe). Rick does normally sync up the beginning of the arc with the real world time, but it doesn't appear so here to me at least.

Daawww I bet we see how Lucretia teaches Bailey how to be a mother
You know there is something I'm wondering, doesn't Lucretia get some help for preparing food?
Okay I know she is now preparing because she just happen to be awake, but doesn't she get help from Snow and Elaine? Well maybe Bailey can help her now

Re: 2015/11/27 - Baby Bump In The Night
So this is a prequel moment, successive to the fair arc story of July. Eheh, both of you are having insomnia, but with Bailey it's so visible why. Probably she was going to the fridge... Take all the good advices of the awesome mother Lucretia, Bailey, but better keep out those that are too wild and gross (do it for King's stomach). Indeed Lucretia, and we understand that's done especially because of the fat Daryl, but don't tell that you're cooking for Thanksgiving (or Christmas or any other feast). I guess that for you wolves everyday is a celebration.
D'aww-ness can't wait! We must see the birth of the adorable pups this time!

in 2017, Rick will have a logical excuse to make the cubs walk on their feet. :3
