Sabotaging the saboteur - well played, Kari. Well played.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

I hope that the ferrets have some good healthcare for Falstaff since his tail might be chopped off!

Falstaff’s first off the mark,
Trying to stop Karishad’s work.
Unknowing, unfaltering trust
In the plan composed by a berk.
He takes the place of a cut frame
And stands in front of the Fox;
He tells Truck it’s all good
But may have lost some locks.
Deep in the winter snow
Rock needs to call a paramedic
Or Fals will sue for all his worth…
About seventy cents. On credit.

Karishad: you didn't really need such a long tail, so I gave it a haircut.

Re: 2016/02/05 - A Cut Above
Actually, we never see the damage caused. And besides, It likely means that Karishad just cropped fur off. Most animal tails, Raccoons being among them, have the tailbone only go half the length of the actual tail.Errr...
This is like going beyond cartoon violence...
Also, since Falstaff only noticed when Karishad pointed it out, likely means that the saw wasn't cutting bone. Also, I'm actually rather certain that Truck wouldn't be giving a thumbs up like that if Falstaff's actually been injured. I mean, he's not the brightest bulb in the Chandelier, but he would at least recognize grievous injury and react to it.

You'd think fallstaf would've run after Karishad recognized that he was going to sabateuge him.
If I hit someone with a dictionary is that physical, or verbal assault?

Does anyone know how to sew a raccoon tail back on?
There's no place like home...except the Housepets home page.

I get the feeling Fals is going to end up with one extra before this is over.

Wait, can Falstaff even sue? Does he have that right, I mean animals in the woods don't have real rights, right? So then If Karishad did cut it off wouldn't he have to run to Jessica for help? And how would that work, in legalities? Then again Fals is probably fine.

And the big twist: Falstaff didn't had that look in the last panel, because his tail was cut off (or at least a part of it), he just doesn't know the answer to Kari's question, that's it
Also this reminds me of that one episode of the pink panther cartoon, where he got his tail cut off all the time

Re: 2016/02/05 - A Cut Above
Oh, no... I told you needed some luck to deal with Karishad. I guess the second step is now to get the pieces all together... Now, Falstaff, turn your head to the back slowly and look what did Karishad do... I hope he's just kidding! Never try to get the trust of a such chaos of a fox, and looks like he understood what you wished to do. Truck's enthusiasm is so funny.
PS: there's an error in the third panel. Falstaff's chest and front neck fur is colored instead of being white, and it's also missing the colors division line.

Tail is about the same length compared to the rest of the body in both images.House42 wrote:This is what a quick Google Images search yielded:Argent wrote:[citation required]John-056 wrote:Most animal tails, Raccoons being among them, have the tailbone only go half the length of the actual tail.

Well, which cartoons are we talking about? I've seen cartoons with beheadings (Tom and Jerry), Iron Maidens (PowerPuff Girls), and shootings (can't recall the specific Porky Pig cartoon). And those were just the more unique ones.Argent wrote:Errr...

Daffy Duck and Wile E Coyote have both been cut in half before. And Mr Coyote has had literally everything ever done to him at least once. Usually explosively.D-Rock wrote:Well, which cartoons are we talking about? Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Did you know you can tell the age of a raccoon by the amount of rings on their tail?Dissension wrote: Title Text: the ring moved to my ears
Sorry, but having been a vet student and studied anatomy, I can tell you that's wrong. There's no such thing as a "tailbone" unless you're human. In animals, the vertebrae continue down the tail right to the end. The spinal cord stops just near the pelvis though, just like in any species. The tail vertebrae are called "caudal" or "coccygeal" vertebrae.John-056 wrote:Most animal tails, Raccoons being among them, have the tailbone only go half the length of the actual tail.
That's true. I do agree with that. ^^ Although shock can do strange things.John-056 wrote:Also, since Falstaff only noticed when Karishad pointed it out, likely means that the saw wasn't cutting bone. There's also hangings and shootings and electrocutions in Bugs Bunny. There's a lot you can get away with in cartoons, especially if it's not shown on screen. As long as it's kept non-graphic and comedic then you can get away with a lot.D-Rock wrote: Well, which cartoons are we talking about? But anyway, this is Rick's comic so he can do what he wants since he sets the ratings himself. ^^
