I like how the cops even tied up Cory's tail.

Also, doesn't Truck looks so adorable in panel two?

First off, let me start with,

HA!!

Secondly, maybe now he knows a little bit in how credit card fraud is detected. And I must say, the K9 unit is well prepared for skunks; gas masks, muzzle, and did they also cover up his scent glands?

I guess they're not as apposed to a Raccoon entering a store so long as it's actually paying for food instead of stealing it. Never actually thought about that.
Gbr23 wrote:Just ... What did you tried to buy Cory ? ... what indeed
It doesn't matter what it was, he's a skunk. Just like in real life, skunks are considered high risk and have to be captured immediately if in a public zone. Also yeah, Credit Card fraud.

To borrow (and adjust) a quote from the immortal Bugs Bunny...

"Aren't you a stinker?"

You should know better, Cori.

Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Truck’s a lovely little guy,
Happy with a simple Ice-cream.
What got Cory carried away
Was the major cost of his dream.
You can feel sorry for the lads,
As things don’t go to plan;
Performing emergency action –
Respirators in the back of the van.
The tail’s sealed as a weapon
As Truck licks his Orange
He wins and the Skunk loses?
Things are wondrous, if strange.

And so the Opener's prophecy has become true! And Cory was not accepted in stores not for being feral, but for being (or rather had the possibility of being) stinky. All hail the Opener of Ways!

It wasn't what he tried to buy, it's what he was.

What do you think happens when a skunk wanders into an ice-cream shop?

They probably haven't even found out about the credit card yet.

Truck went for Ice Cream. For all we know, Cory went for the DAB Radio shop.

The problem is, wherever he goes, he's still a skunk.

If this comic is on a leap day, does that mean it ceases to exist except for every four years? :?

Whenever I see something that references Hannibal Lecter, I think of my joke for the infamous census-taker scene.

Was his bigger crime that he ate the dude's liver, that he served it with fava beans, or that he mispronounced Chianti?

I think the biggest crime by far is pairing a Chianti with liver. Blech!

The part that really made me laugh was the gas masks and them covering his scent glands. Good to know they've prepared for skunks.

Haha, oh Corey forgot his makeup. I'm pretty sure he isn't being arrested for Credit Card fraud but it definitely won't go in his favour.

Cats and Dogs are the same size in this universe
Are there any police cats? and could you be arrested by a police horse?

The little detail of them wrapping up his scent glands was the best thing here, that and the ice eating truck...does it mean he is a ICE truck?

I doubt so, while animals can walk and talk in this universe, they still serve the same roles as they do in our universe. Although I could imagine guide cats instead of guide dogs, but that wouldn't be the norm.

Of course not. They'd never manage all that paperwork.

Truck eating an ice cream...
You could say he's an (Warning! Bad pun inbound!) ICE CREAM TRUCK!

Well, it had to end in a bad way because of that credit card. ;) Aww, Truck is so cute enjoying his free ice cream. :D Eh, you can't freely go around the town, Cory. :P That's the fault of being a skunk. :| The K9 caught you, but apparently not also Trinket, that could try to free you in someway... Anyway, should end well for you. ;) It's fine that you police dogs have protected yourselves, but tie up the skunk's tail is maybe a bit too much. :P ;)

I've actually had Tiger Blood flavored snow cone once. I have no idea what it was, but it did kind of taste slightly like blood.

Only in canada. (RCMP still use horses in some places)
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.
